a joke. it's a blender feature that allows you to turn your model grey or different colors & textures to see how the light shines on the surface of the object to debug shading

i dont think you get the joke lol you mess up the materials .cs or changed something in blender, i would verify your games integrity and see if that fixes it, make sure you make copies of the changes in the vehicle jbeams that you have made, and add them back in one by one and see which change you made affects the tires. thats the best way that I know how to fix this type of issue.

Did you remove the mod though? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "putting the file back."

Which file did you do that to though. You should remove whatever mod you installed before the issue happened anyways.

that doesnt do anything, just remove that mod, if the tires turn black again, that was the problem. theres something conflicting within that mod (which mod????) that is affecting the stock files, usually means its a mod that is not packaged correctly.

Using the ingame mod manager, disable all of your mods one by one until the issue is fixed, and delete the mod that is the one that fixed the problem when it was disabled. If that doesn't work, do a clean reinstall of the game.

welp dunno what to tell you, whatever mod that was/was not installed/uninstalled broke something. reinstall the game then
    --- Post updated ---
something in the console might tell you theres an error somewhere.

or one of you guys could give me your common - wheels file see if that fixes it, as clearly the stock tire skin file has gone, which would be help full, as your games aren't broken.
then if that doesn't work ill have to re install the game.

just reinstall it takes like 5 minutes, it's a lot less work than anything else. if you have configs you want to save, extract them into a separate folder and add them back in after you fix the game.
