The name of the game is currently undecided, though BeamNG is the accepted moniker. To answer your question in the syntax you presented, the name BeamNG is not intended to become an informative website. What's more informative than the official site?
Well BeamNG in diffrent launguages would probaly look something like this (google translate) beam ng شعاع نانوغرام haz ng fes ng balk ng tir ng balok ng зрак нг بیم NG P.S. 50th post wutwut
lolwut. Anyway, BeamNG is a name, same as a brand, it does not translate. Like "Battlefield" does not become "field battle" in other languages but stays "Battlefield"
I think I read somewhere BeamNG was actually the name of one of the tech. they were using to make the game. I read it wayyy back, & can remember just that. On another though, I think BeamNG is what the Devs thought of calling the engine when they start selling it. Sorry, with my poor memory & my stupid cold it's tough remembering
"With all due respect" can be quite handy in a case where you do wish to tell a user to go fuck themselves after you understand it's true meaning, but prefer not to be accosted for incivility. Just saying
I liked the name "BeamNG" since that's what the website is called and the engine they're working on. So why not have it as the name.
It would be kind of uncomfortable to call it something else, we're so used to call it BeamNG that it would be "weird" to call it something else. Beam Next Generation is a good name, I like it.
I agree with the above posts. Calling BeamNG anything else would now seem weird, Although changing the name to something more catchy/interesting might compel more new players to check what the game is about. But I'm ok with it either way.
beamng is the name of the engine and not the game the devs make. and i dont think the game running on the beamng engine will be named beamng just like the engine....
