True, it is, but I wanted to make a point about how a game which advertises "superb customization" is getting destroyed in that area by a 4-year-old simulator that will cost about a third as much. Amen to that. Pretty much how I feel about every other game.
Accept, this game is competing against games where crash physics does not really matter, It's the gameplay, and this beats almost all games Customization wise that's not A sim with almost no racing/game play elements. Just saying...
I just couldn't push myself to watch it till the end. Anyhow, that thing at 2:06 very much reminded me of the GTA 5 Train vs Bus videos that were so popular not that long ago. And that wasn't a "racing game"
Sure, if by some crazy coincidence the gameplay we saw has nothing to do with the finished product. It'll be better than Rivals and 2015 (you couldn't even pause those) but it will still suck compared to any other upcoming racing game, including The Crew 2 (which we'll see in a few hours at the Ubisoft showcase). #EASucks
Handling is something you sort of have to wait until the game comes out to judge it. And I actually like the idea of the crazy car stealing mission idea. Tbh I would like to get NFS Payback when it comes out. If the game is fun that is all that matters right? if you want realism just play something else.
There's a difference between a good arcade handling and bumping into traffic at 200km/h without having an impact on your car behavior. I don't want a simulation handling, just something fun to drive, there's nothing fun in driving car that do everything for you.
Just saw the crew 2 trailer. Looks more like an expansion with better graphics, aircraft, and boats. Even the terribly modeled traffic returns... --- Post updated --- What's with the map folding? It's just stupid... Also, I see no cops, and there's a chance it might not be free roam.
The Crew 2 really suprised me, I have to say. I heard that Criterion already tried to implement Aircrafts into Burnout Paradise and always thought it was an interessting idea. Let's see how it turns out
I would love a "Sandbox" version of the crew, and not have to go through the shitty carrier mod. If not I like the idea of having planes, cars, boats in a giant map
