I took bone stock Ibishu Covet DXi manual and after the river crossing it spontaneously combusted, and after a while front tired exploded making me unable to finish the race. Sadly I was 12 minutes in... Do you know why that might have happened? Coolant wasn't overheating.

Ok, I installed an Oil cooler and some hardcore radiator and it didn't catch fire next time. Probably oil overheated and ignited the car.

17:01.98 bone stock Covet DXi manual. Pretty much destroyed front suspension on a bridge wall at the last tarmac part. Still fun tho.

 

Yeah, that happened twice to me with the Rally Ibushi Pessima. Maybe a bug?

It doesn't make much sense, if you pass through water, any temp would have to be brought down, right?

 

It's a bug of the game, it happens every time you launch the game, directly load Utah and drive into the water without changing vehicle and/or respawing

It has happened to me a few times when testing my Juggernaut scenarios

 

Idk, maybe the oil pan was made with Sodium.

I checked that and it's true, my car caught on fire for no reason. So to make sure it doesn't happen just load a random map and from there start the rally quickplay?

 

Is there a bug report posted about this with steps to reproduce? If not, it might be good idea.

 

If I remember correctly I've already forwarded these steps to @synsol ,so it will probably (I hope) be fixed in the next update
