More speed and HP = bigger grill. That’s my thoughts on why the grills are much bigger for the 2019 Chevy lineups
Correct me if im wrong, but big grilles aren't really needed for more speed and HP. Take the Lexus LFA. It has a 4.8L V10 producing 553 HP. And it doesnt have the giant oversized grille. All of the intakes are placed where needed. I think big grilles are just for styling.
Because I thought more powerful engines needs more airflow which in theory a bigger grill. But whatever works, works for me.
You can get better cooling without making the grill look bigger. In fact, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage X Pack had a blanked off front to the grill despite being the most powerful option.
Who remember the 20th century, where the grilles weren't as bothersome? --- Post updated --- There's definitely more here as well: /s
What do y'all think of the new Audi A7 grille?it looks good, but too many sharp corners. Kinda like the Ford Fusion grille too, too many sharp corners.
