I would expect more damage from a 70MPH head on collision, But any accident in a small car at 70MPH doesn't sound very survivable. But the car in the pic doesn't look too bad so maybe you survived.
Car was sitting still and the truck hit it doing approximately 70 mph. The GTi just bounced away surprisingly it would still drive after that wreck.
Driver of the Golf: Deceased, took to long for help to arrive. Massive head trauma and internal bleeding, an unfortunately painful death. Driver of the H-Series: Alive, but suffered mentally from the accident.
Can't let this thread die! 1st and 2nd: %100 fatal, 3rd: D-Series - survivable, Marshal - driver's side survivable, right pax. area - high chance of fatality. Now, I know the answer to this one here for (almost) certain, but I'd like to see what you guys think. The officers (x2) in the Crown Victoria were en-route to a call of a man (x1) running people off of the road in a Chevrolet Silverado. The Crown Vic was running with lights and siren, traveling at ~37 MPH, locked brakes, and full left steering (towards opposite lane) at the time of impact. The Silverado was traveling at an unknown speed, estimated at ~40-45mph, and unable to see the officers due to sun glare and the small hill they were clearing. On the Crown Vic's passenger side, the seat was less than 8" from the deformed dash (no intrusion). Inside the Silverado there was no interior deformation, and only the passenger door was bent.
The Silverado driver suffers from two broken kneecaps from slamming into the console, and broken ribs from his seat-belt. He suffers from a neck injury common in vehicular collisions known as whiplash. The officer in the passenger side suffers from scrapes and lacerations from broken glass and debris. His right leg has been broken in the collision. His right arm is fractured, and he suffers from whiplash. The officer in the driver side suffers from small lacerations from broken glass and debris, but is otherwise fine. The airbags in both vehicles have failed to deploy leading to an investigation by the NTSB into Ford and General Motors. The investigation is pending. Both officers and the Silverado driver make full recoveries. The Silverado driver is sent to jail on multiple counts of reckless driving, unsafe lane changes, driving with a suspended license, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, among other things. The officer who was driving dies three years later in a fatal shootout. The passenger officer dies at the ripe old age of 87 in retirement. This helicopter was carrying five passengers on a sight seeing tour of a country composed of nothing but grids, a testament to human engineering. Mechanical failure is suspected. Did anyone die in the crash?
^ definitely dead on impact Did I die? Ibishu Pickup was parked in the entrance to a mudding track when the Grand Marshal lost control & hit a small concrete divider, then the vehicle went airborn & landed on the Ibishu.
Absolutely dead... I crashed mine at max speed - 142 mph. I hit the side of Grid, Pure and went into the air.
The two passengers in the Marshall suffer some whiplash, and the people in the covet just need a new pair of pants.
