Modes like you have mentioned are mainly related to suspension adjustments that the computer does. It doesnt really change much with the actual drivetrain other than quicker shifts or sharpening up engine response.

There's no technical limit in the framework stopping you. Since we don't have any Hybrids, nobody bothered to implement the required hardware side or control logic yet.

But since it's extensible it's easy to implement the missing stuff yourself.

Reading through this thread is getting me hyped, so I'm gonna click off of this for a while. I don't want to get hyped to early.

Question, will we be able to control, the stall of each individual torque converter?

If so @Josh, that would mean we could finally make some Auto trans lower HP drag cars that launch properly. That would be epic. First thing i would do, would be to make the Miramar into a true drag car that launches with the wheels in the air. I might even put the barstow I6 in there to replicate something i have always wanted to do.

Torque converters use somewhat realistic input parameters, so stall speed is certainly configurable. (Of course not via some fixed RPM as that wouldn't be realistic)

The "stall speed" of a torque converter is really just an end result of the torque converter design and how much power the engine has. But you will have things like diameter, stall torque multiplication ratio, and coupling speed ratio to determine the design of the torque converter.
