Love the fact that mod repo is being reworked - for as long as I can remember, i had plenty of little issues with it.
Anyway, i would love to see the option in the mod list tab to create a sub-folder for mods, which you can disable when you don't want to use specific mods.

Also the ability to click between the two types of repositories up until the new repository is completely rolled out and actually works really well. I think they already did that with some of the other UI. I'm looking forward to it

Adding a section like “MOD of the Week” might be interesting. Also, how about allowing users to purchase paid MODs?

Paid mods can be a hassle, be it support or access and payment.
wouldn't totally disagree with payment, like if one are or have an VIP/membership to beamng, that some content wants to classify as "premium" content, while the holder of assets is beamng. can have a conflict with shady mods or using others content or IP. So one could maybe gain something per install, if its positive ratings or negative ratings (could be abused, outdated, broken, etc). funds (digital wallet/microtransactions?) or from the membership which beamng would likely need to take a %. Could be a service that is a bit much to maintain vs it's benefits.

I would like to see subscribe + collect/save/favorite button for mods or creator, if mods will always be there for the game, as one see stuff might get too old.

Scaling adjustment for each type = text, icons, images, content spacing, box spacing. like the stars and tags could maybe be smaller while still clear to see what they mean.
Icons about the content, Warning triangle + wrenches in middle = broken or outdated? orange circle + white lines with a B in the middle = beta, lab icon for experimental (green or blue-purple)?
Colors/theme, white/black text, background color, etc? and one might be able to create "the current theme".
Show file size again :p maybe under downloads in tab layout, in list layout next to it?
Verified/approved content mark, stricter uploading + updates, but more trusted by devs?

curious about this UI content, can there be a way to translate for easier UI tools/support for other UI applications?

I'm a pretty big supporter of quality paid mods from the likes of LJ74 and LucasBE, but I don't think having an official paid mod store would be a good idea. Even if BeamNG doesn't take a cut of the payment, on the outside it would look like that they are going down the path of user-created paid DLCs like what Bethesda and Paradox do. Something like that isn't a great image for an indie developer, especially not one with a game in Early Access.

officialy aproved paid mods could help the people that actually put in the work and make it harder for the scammers that sell shitty paid mods with stolen content/3d models to suceed, its a win win, it would also allow for mass refunds if its found out that a mod had stolen content, and it would make it easier to tell people to just buy from the only official source

Could you add the function to have multiple filters e.g:
    cars & maps
    Or something like that?

I'm more of the opinion that paid mods were a massive Pandora's box that led to every semi-decent mod being locked behind a paywall and Ferrari C&Ding the forum or maybe the game itself. To the extent they're allowed at all, they absolutely shouldn't be officially sanctioned by the devs.

oh ferrari has already F&D the forums lol, as long as copyright issues are non existant, i think its for the better, beause theres already a massive flood of low effort paid mods with stolen models and stuff everywhere, so being able to say "you should only buy mods from the official store" would massively help with making patreon/gumroad mods less popular

i would like a recommended section, based on the mods you have, and also a best mods or mods of the year section. Maybe also some gameplay/realism mods section?
    thx ;)

paid mods have litteraly no features/fun configs, they're more bland and gray then the UK weather

What, specifically, do you mean by fun? Derby/beater versions? Offroad conversions? Fantasy/novelty/OP builds like the hero bus? There are plenty of modders out there who would almost certainly be willing to inject a bit more tasteful insanity into their creations, but if they're being judged, I think it would be fair to ask by what metric. :)
