Can you get more detailed specs from the laptop? There are a lot of GPU's in that chip family.

I was just curious since V2 of the TechDemo doesn't work

Is there any other version more reliable?

It has nothing to do with reliability - in all likelihood your computer simply isn't powerful enough to run the game at all. It'd be possible to be sure about this if you could post the exact hardware in your laptop, but it seems you're having trouble with figuring out what that is, in which case telling us the make and model (probably on a sticker on the bottom) would be a great start.

If it can run normal BeamNG.drive then there's no need to use the tech demo.

I don't think so. I've a Dell Optiplex connected to my TV with an i5 2400, 8 GB RAM and an R7 240 GPU, and it barely runs the game at 60 fps with everything on low.
That R7 240 is even ~250% faster than the standard HD integrated graphics....

Press Ctrl + F to view FPS
    Then,
    Ctrl + P to take a sceenshot, I think
You can find them in Documents/BeamNG/Screenshots

You should be able to login with the Steam account that has BeamNG on your computer and download it there. Then log off and run BeamNG.Drive from the Steam Folder manually.
BeamNG.Drive do not have any forced DRM stuff, it works just fine without Steam.
Althought the game will keep up-to-date only on PC that runs it via Steam.
