I am using the latest version of BeamNG and now none of the non-BeamNG levels show up at all. Also, none of the new vehicle mods show up either. For the past three versions, none of the vehicle images appear on the vehicle selection screen or on the mod screen with the that vehicle. They were all originally put in their respective folders as compressed files. And, I did copy them into the content; Levels & Vehicles folder every time I updated to a newer version. Any ideas on how to get the vehicles and levels to work?

So just to be clear.....putting in a levels or vehicles folder under the mods folder is NOT required?

Not for a zip I guess, as it will have the required folder inside it. If you unzip it then you do I think.

Though this got me thinking too now....

For ZIP it isn't needed. Dropping it in 'Mods' will auto-mount it.
Not sure about unzipped ones (I personally still put them under 'levels' or 'vehicles' subfolders in 'mods' to be sure.

That's what I have been doing too. Though zips seem to work inside mods/levels too if you happen to put them in there.
Its a shame you still have to make your map in the game directory for the material and shape editor work properly. Working on them from mods/levels brings up file path errors making it impossible.

Exactly. Not to mention materials filepath errors when someone downloads your map from doing that.

I moved the existing mods into the new folder like I always have to do after a new rev. I also added new mods in their compacted file format. Neither show up. Only the ones that came from BeamNG with the new rev. Only 2 Levels and a dozen vehicles. And, none of the vehicle images show up.

Can you make sure your 'mods' folder looks and is located like here:

    Documents > BeamNG.Drive > Mods

    (imported from here)

Also, the mods do not work or those simply don't have an 'image' (and appear as unknown or have the default BeamNG logo image?)
