On the Hirochi Sunburst Hillclimb variant, the Nomi splitter and rear wing are chrome, and cannot be changed. Other vehicles that use these textures, including mod vehicles, show the same error. When I arrange the camera so the light hits the car in a certain way, you can see the 'no material' orange texture behind the chrome.

I have already cleared the cache, started in safe mode, deactivated all mods while not in safe mode, verified the cache through the launcher and through Steam, and reinstalled the game after deleting both the game folder and Documents folder. The problem persists.

Try in Safe Mode. Could be caused by a broken mod.

I had some texture issues (missing road textures in my case) that were only fixed by completely wiping my BeamNG.Drive folder in documents, cache and all. Try that?
and yes, I tried just clearing cache, and that didn't fix it. I removed all my mods, that didn't fix it. so there's something messing up the textures that is unrelated to either mods or cache, I'm not sure.
