I must have a different version of the track? I even tried installing this mod: Restored Nurburgring Time Trials But still nothing. I have added screenshots below of what I see on map and my mods folder. Any ideas how to get the time-trials back? (I have also done a cache clean) Here is what I see on the map: And here is my mod page showing the versions:
My version is named: ks_nord_v20231124_v2.zip November 2023 … the same one Uhm that's weird Trying to break the 7-minute-barrier in a small wagon:
Would you be able to tel me which folder do you have the zip on? and is it packed or unpacked? Also do you have the time trial fix mod installed? https://www.beamng.com/resources/restored-nurburgring-time-trials.26452/
Forgot to reply earlier, but I use the Time Trials from the main menu. They are missing from the freeroam map menu for me aswell.
Had to try my hand at this. There's been quite a few Covet runs, but it looks like none of them were race configs. This setup is very grippy and rather skittish due to the very hard springs and low tyre pressures, so much so that it'll roll over if I hit certain kerbs. But it goes like stink... Input device is an Xbox gamepad. Ibishu Covet (modded) 2.0 naturally aspirated straight 4 320 BHP @ 8500 RPM, 280 Nm 7-speed sequential transmission 16x12 front wheels, 16x10 rear Wrong wheel drive
I tried replicating, erm, Memorable Episode of Popular British TV Show with German Woman in Commercial Van. As it turns out, if you match the engine power, the Gavril H-Series is no match and needs a full 11 minutes bridge to gantry. Or maybe I suck at driving... Gavril H15 panel van (modded, bridge to gantry) 6.0 V8 turbodiesel, detuned 133 BHP @ 3250 RPM 5-speed manual transmission Passenger seat & spare wheel removed Rear anti-roll bar added
I hope its not too of topic but can you guys give me some insights on your Scintilla setups (only vanilla) for this track? I want to race again but the stock racing config is kinda meh... xD
I'd recommend setting racing tires and fine tuning your toe and camber for the nurburgring specifically. Also get your gear ratio good to reach top speed in the straights. Basically... tires, tire angle' gear ratio and get a good brake setup then practice practice practice
Well I don't think a 1000hp Wendover is a car, more of a live animal trying to kill you just like bolide (God help me)
That race config Wendover soliad is so sweet! It can be tamed!! Learn about downforce and how the tire molds and behaves when the weight is shifted. No joke I think that car is the most beginner friendly race/track car.
I cannot finde the front aero shown in the thumbnail of the first video but it should be vanilla (the description says vanilla custom config). Any ideas where I can select this?
