Normal maps to compensate visual damage on lowpoly deformation meshes

    Hi devs and people, I just had an small idea about detailed damage model in beamng - normal maps as dynamic paint so after an impact the normal map that could be just generated noise (like noise map map in Blender scaled up) would appear on the body elements and after that adding scratches should be just another node to the whole thing. Kind regards, keep the great work!

    Edit: our pcs are ready for VR! Please for God's sake
