Yes! I LOVE to drift my 98' trooper on 35s. 4x4 + rain = Very confused public... Quickest way to confuse the crap out of everyone at an intersection, make that left turn sideways as f**k in a 4x4 suv with all-terrains. I love the crazy body roll I get when I'm flicking the throttle in a corner...haha wow. Way too silly.
I drive a 3.7L 2WD 2006 Jeep Liberty. It looks like shit. The electronics are bad (Chrysler). The gearbox is the worst. The engine sounds like a dying whale. It has a Jeep badge but no off-roading abilities. I can't wait to trade it in next month.
I heard jeeps used to be made using AMC tooling and design but then like 15 years ago chrysler redesigned everything and it went bad - - - Updated - - - i really like to do this too. I got a job just yesterday (finally) so soon i should be able to get a 240sx or rx7 or basically anything with a 5 speed and rwd for this kind of stuff. That's my dad's truck in the video, but he does this type of stuff too, and i didn't go past 3/4 throttle or so. 5.3 will live lol. The road I was on is crazy slippery when it's wet and it's really easy to drift on.
I drive a renault clio 1,2l, before i bought this car i had a BMW e39 520i. It was a really nice car, couldnt afford to keep it, i had no job back then :/. Will buy an other beemer when i get the cash.
Bought a 1985 300zx today. 5 speed and I don't know how to drive a manual, oh well! lol I think I'm going to love this car. I can't drive it yet because 1: am noob 2: front tires are showing steel 3: no insurance yet I found this video of one drifting and the car is stock. I'm really excited to drive it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ewv_W4hx7T0
well ive only got my learners permit but i still drive a car so i thought i would post a picture of the car i kinda drive. Its a (i think) 2007 Subaru outback (currently i dont have any real pictures. ill get some soon)
My dad and I just picked up a new toy. 77 Chrysler Newport. Runs great, 400 BB motor. Aftermarket carb with dual exhaust. Sounds pretty badass. Here's a couple pics. (It's maroon, not brown by the way)
I've driven a few 90s 300zxes and I absolutely love them! I'm trying to get rid of my awful Jeep Liberty right now and a 300zx is one of the cars I'm searching for. Sent frmo my iWhatever using Talkalot V4.3.4.3.1 now Free
My little Honda Civic (VI gen) 1.4 Si from '98. Probably nothing special, compared to most of the cars in this topic, but still... At least it's pretty cheap in terms of fuel consumption (especially with LPG system installed) and it weighs a little bit more than one tonne, so it definetelly doesn't feel slow. Plus, it must be one of my favorite hatchbacks in terms of exterior design, it doesn't feel outdated in this regard.
I love that year of the civic hatch. Does the LPG come out to be less expensive that the gas, and how does the exhaust smell when you're running LPG?
Yes it does, otherwise I'm pretty sure those kind of instalations wouldn't be so much popular here in Poland 1 liter of LPG costs here around 0,77$ (it was 0.74$ not that long ago...), compared to PB95, which is around 1,80$ (and rising...) right now. Even assuming, that car needs around 20% more LPG than gas to drive 100 km (20% is just an example, it depends on type of instalation, engine, setup of an instalation etc.), it starts to become viable after around 12000-15000 km. Even after adding costs of instalation (from around 500$ and higher) and slightly higher costs of maintenance (yearly servicing is 20$ more, plus sometimes you need to service the LPG instalation in special garages), it still is remarkably cheap. About smell - in most modern LPG instalations it's honestly really hard to notice that scent.
