I think it's a fun little trike. Slap on some stabilizers and you've got a motor vehicle for your toddler!
I'm looking at the votes in the poll, and noticed the separation between favorite, and least favorite. And I got to thinking, that to really gain a meaningful interpretation of the voting results, you have to subtract the least favorite votes for each car, from the most favorite votes for each car-- in order to get a "net score" value. Then once a net score has been found, rank them from the highest positive value to the lowest negative value. If two car makes/models are tied with the same net score... the tie is broken by whichever one has more votes for "most favorite". Even if the least favorite vote pulled a car down, I think it still deserves a slight leg up in the rankings, if more people liked it overall. So with that said, the overall ranking (leader-board) is as follows. Bear in mind, I know votes can be continuously added at anytime. This may be outdated in 12 hours. For the record, I tallied these votes during the 2pm hour January 9th (California time). 10 pm, Jan 9th UTC. 1. Ibishu Pessima 1988: +16 -1 +15 2. ETK - I Series: +15 0 +15 3. Before I start I would like to say that my post will become outdated when the new car and Soliad Wendover materialise, because it will probably take 10 and 6 respectively. 1. Ibishu Pessima (1988)- Great, could do with more engine choices and/or a luxury model. 2. Bruckell LeGran- Great, suits having a facelift with composite headlamps. 3. ETK I-Series- Very Good, rice rice baby. 5. Ibishu Hopper- Very Good, nothing much to say. 6. Ibishu Pessima (1998)- Good, could do with a more premium model. 7. Bruckell Moonhawk- Good, best time for a "muscle" car. 8. ETK 800 Series- Good, might need 4 door models. 9. Civetta Bolide- Good, could do with evolving style features like the 308 GTB/GTS. 10. Ibishu 200BX- Good, also rice rice baby. 11. Gavril Grand Marshal- Good, remaster was a worthy addition to the game 12. Autobello Piccolina- Okay, needs more Spiderman 2 memes. 13. Hirochi Sunburst- Okay, needs an active AWD system like the WRX or Evo. 14. Gavril Barstow- Okay, really different driving between the engines. 15. Gavril Roamer- Okay, a bit overshadowed by the D-Series. 16. Gavril D-Series- Okay, I would like configs spread out onto all cars in the game and not just on this one friggin- 17. Hirochi SBR4- Okay, not much to say. 18. Ibishu Miramar- Okay, to drive realistically we need a Japan map. 19. Ibishu Pigeon- Okay, see above. 20. Gavril H-Series- Okay, also overshadowed by the D-Series. 21. Gavril Bluebuck- Okay, the idea of including hardtops was cool. 22. Wentward DT40L- Okay, could do with a bio-bus, bendy-bus, or bio-bendy-bus. 23. Gavril T-Series- Okay, not much to say. 24. Burnside Special- Okay, not much to say. 25. ETK K-Series- Okay, not much to say.
Favorites: Etk series k ... I really have fun with this car. Esbr .. Acceleration is the best, my default reaches 152 mph. Hopper..A jeep is fun on the islands. And I really like the least is the dt40l because it is not friendly in fps (for me)
I used to love the bolide, now it just sucks with how bad it's designed. The rear taillights look the worst. Too small, too budget oriented for the wedge shape
Favourite is definetly the 88' pessima becuase i just love old 80's and 90's japanese cars. Least favourite is the wentward becuase i never really use, and least favourite because i dont really like it is probably the roamer. It's not that i dont like just that it's the one i like the least i guess.
Yes, I know this is a bump, but it's a relevant bump - we just got a big new update. Anyway, I can't quite do a proper list from top to bottom (too many ties), so I'm going to break them up into (poorly-organized) classes. These are all evaluated from standard: no mods here. My #1 favorite car in Beam: Pigeon Yes, I know. It's badly-made, it doesn't fit in the era-appropriate kei regulations, it's barely modifiable, it's slow, it doesn't handle, and it can't take more than ~50 hp, BUT...it's unique. Really unique. Every other car in the game drives like a vague semblance of each other - some more prone to understeer (Wentward, D35, T-Series), some more prone to oversteer (Barstow, Bolide, 200BX), and some that are very neutral (ETKs, SBR4, Vivace). Against a backdrop of four-wheeled, steel-bodied cars, the Pigeon stands out. It's incredibly light, its diesel engine can get it movin' quickly, and if you tune it right, it can handle really well for a little tricycle. It's refreshing, is what it is. It's the ultimate learner's tool; if you screw up in the Pigeon, you have that buffer zone because it's moving so slow. It's an all-purpose vehicle that just so happens to have three wheels. And that's why it's been my default car for so long. The rest of these are fairly close, and I don't really dislike any of them (with one or two exceptions); I just don't like some vehicles as much as others. Classics: Bluebuck Autobello Moonhawk Miramar Barstow Burnside I want to start this off by saying that I'm a particular fan of vehicles in the 180-250 horsepower range (or the 150-300hp/ton range for lighter cars). It's where I feel BeamNG is best; with cars that are fast enough to get into trouble with, but not so fast as to be literally undrivable. I also enjoy vehicles that allow me to gradually step up through this range - instead of going from one end to the other. This area is where cars like the Bluebuck, the Autobello, the Moonhawk, and the Miramar, and (to some extent) the Barstow excel. These cars have a range of engines that allow me to hone in a tune very nicely. If, say, the 214 hp in the 353 Marshal feels a bit too much, I can always yoink the four-barrel carb and replace it with a two-barrel to get it to a more-reasonable ~200 hp. For someone with a keyboard, this is very handy - and something that I always look for in non-AWD cars. Which is why the Burnside is at the bottom of this list, despite it being my favorite drift car and one of my favorites in the game. It has one engine that's too underpowered and almost impossible to modify from standard (the 313) and an engine that overwhelms the old chassis, even if you detune it to 237 hp (the 423). No in-between on this beauty - which is why I don't really drive it without my 4-barrel mod. Sports Coupes: Bolide SBR4 200BX K-Series eSBR (Least Favorite of all cars) The Bolide's fun, but only in 320 tune - everything else is far too much for me to handle. But man, is that 320 good. Stick a performance exhaust on it, and you'll scoot through mountain roads like they're nothing. The SBR4's nice - and it's great at storming SSRB. It's my go-to speed machine, for when I need to go fast for miles and miles. The 200BX is the Burnside of this lot - but not quite as pronounced. An N/A V6/V8 would make me want to drive it more, but with its current L4? Not really. You can tune it N/A, but it'll never have that satisfying torque curve of a V6/V8. The eSBR is...rough. I don't like how it drives. The K-Series is the most stable vehicle at ~200 mph in the game; that car deserves a more powerful engine as much as the BX. It also deserves stronger suspension that doesn't collapse if you so much as go over a speed bump. Apparently, in the 0.18/0.19 updates, the K-Series got a lot stronger - strong enough to pass the eSBR. That's good to see; it still needs a bigger engine, though. '80s/90s Sedans: LeGran '96 Pessima Grand Marshal I-Series '88 Pessima I'm a fan of V6 engines, and the LeGran's supercharged examples are amazing. The S V6 automatic is the best cheap drift car in the game, hands-down; the Sport is an SSRB stormer that can keep up with (and defeat) ETK I-Series sedans, '88 Pessima GTZs, and GM Sports handily - all on 207 hp. The '96 Pessima's got that sweet V6 that makes it real nice to drive at any speed. It's not very high quality, but it's fun. The Grand Marshal in any variant is one of the easiest vehicles in the game to drive fast. It's as stable as a Freedom Wheel Drive car, while being proper quick and a real bargain. The I-Series is a great car in the 200-hp range - either the N/A 3.0L or the Stage 1 turbo 2.4 make for wonderful variants in any configuration. The Knallhart will decimate SBR4s like they're Piccolina 110's. Unfortunately, the top-tier Evo version isn't very nice to drive. The '88 Pessima, I...rather enjoy, but it's not that fun to drive for me, personally. Modern Sedans/SUVs/Wagons: Vivace Sunburst 800 Series Tograc The Vivace is just so tuneable - at least, when it comes to everything but engines. It's a really nice car to drive in either 110 or 410 spec, and its race interior, chassis stiffening, and proper WRC-spec rally versions make it very realistic. The nose is a bit iffy, and the lack of adjustable ECUs and turbos is a bother, but it makes up for that with six different engines and two electric motor configurations. The Sunburst is nice - just nice. So is the 800-Series. I don't really use them much. The Tograc is the most sorry-looking vehicle in the game - the SBR4 looks like (whatever game car's the best-looking) next to this wretched thing. The Hogwash basically a lifted Vivace; I appreciate its existence, and it fills an important vehicle archetype nicely, but gah....EDIT: It is very strong, though; I can respect it for that. Still not better than the 800 Series. '70s-'90s Trucks/SUVs: D15/D25/D35 Hopper D10 Charro and D10/D30 Kentarch H15/H25/H35 H45 Roamer T-Series Wentward The D-Series is the most-customizable vehicle in-game; the Hopper's the best vehicle off-road; the D10 Charro/Kentarch adds another brand and two more '80s/'90s SUVs to the game, which is nice. No real strong feelings for any of these; the D-Series really needs more engines (and an update to the L6). The H-Series is a cool van, but I can't help but feel it needs a pre-facelift as much as the D-Series. The T-Series is a better battering ram than the Wentward (which I mostly use for lore purposes in Bus Mode), and the Roamer feels...sorta pointless? Like, even with its LXT version, it's just overshadowed by the Charro/Kentarch. I dunno; probably need a couple months for the C/K hype to settle. EDIT: The LXT RoadSport and unmarked configs are real nice (the former a drifting tour de force), and they're enough to make the Roamer move up the order; but the Roamer's still a bit iffy overall. EDIT: Edited a few of the charts and moved the K-Series and Roamer up. I've decided they're really nice to drive.
