I don't think anyone would turn down extra parts. So military tires would be fine sir. As for the Semiwheels/5th wheel, With the 6x6 A set of Heavier duty axles from the Tseries or the like and a Flatbed 5thwheel deal would be pretty cool. Something kinda like this. --- Also with the Big military tires, You could Modify the Hopper into more of a Humvee, More Militarized. Don't know if others would want it or if it would even fit the hopper But Ideas are always good.
I've been working on the configurations and they are now showing up in the vehicle selector. The sway bars have been improved and don't get jammed any more. I have a few new tires done and I'm working on more at the moment. (No new meshes yet just working with the current ones.) Thinking about adding multiple stall converter options to the th400. either high medium and low stalls or just try to set them up with 500rpm increments from about 1500rpm up to 4500rpm. Will be adding 2.5 and 5.0 inch lift portal axles soon with a few reduction gearing options and visible drive shafts I'll upload an update with configurations as soon as I finish the tires and adjust a shock values. P.S. I have tested the 6 lug hubs with torsion spaced-out mod and all seems to work well. Keep an eye on JackLumba's new project https://www.beamng.com/threads/offroad-pickup.42398/
20" Rims and 54" tires as well as new sizes in the military experimental honeycomb. I'll upload soon. --- Post updated --- Here you go guys. I would love feedback from anyone using the latest versions. Please let me know what you think. The sway bars still need more work and a few other little gremlins persist but I think overall things are getting a little smoother.
901- Military experiment 2 spawns with no wheels and 6 lub hubs. Will report more after playing around. Some of the 6x6 configs also spawn with no wheels. The Front fenders are still invisible for me on most configs, I think it's the cut fenders ((Haven't checked yet)It is the cut fenders) As seen in the picture below, Cut left fender, Normal Right fender, You can even see the marker light on the invisible Cut fender.
These honeycombs are my favorite thing right now. <3 Only thing that would make them better, is if I could color them.
Could a wheel spacer be added for this mod? (the torsion spaced out mod causes a game crash if more than three to four vehicles are spawned)
Have you tried clearing the cache by any chance mate? It looks like they're working for the other guys. I remade the cut fender mesh a while ago, that might be what's causing the issue you're having. I'll check out the configs now and see what's going on with the no wheels issue. It'll be something to do with naming, it was nearly 4am when I was trying to finish them off. Cheers for the pic HumanTarget. I'll check them out and see if I can sort the issue. I haven't had much chance to test each new tire. I'll look into making the colors selectable as well. Please check the driveshaft option in the rear and far rear axles under differential slots, you need to swap it from the stock shaft to the 6x6 one as it picks up from the rear splitting differential rather than the transfer case if building from scratch. I'll check the configurations to make sure they are all setup correctly. Thanks for letting me know.
I dont know either man XD I just rolled a couple of times and it popped. But on gridmap I can do that little rock crawling section no problem. But if I use any other car, those rocks are like glue, they just grab tires and rip them to shreds.
I have cleared the cache and it WAS still broken, Then all of a sudden it fixed itself, I've had alot of issues like that, That randomly fix themselves with no reasoning. It was the New configs that you added, So check all the new ones, I went through the list of Configs and like 5 were spawning with no wheels.
Sweet, I'm glad it came good. Yeah I'm going through the configurations at the moment, I didn't think to check them after playing with the tires last night. I have most of them sorted out though. --- Post updated --- I need to redo the cage before it gets textured, the mesh is a mess at the moment, but I will go through and make more parts paintable once I'm done working on the suspension and driveline. I plan on getting the upfits and short cab working soon so it may well happen then as I'll need to make a few adjustments to the cage design anyway.
I tried making a door for the hopper. Its not to scale or anything and would not look good in game, but im seeing what works and what doesnt. Maybe ill try to make something for this mod. Spoiler: What it looks like on hopper Heres more or less what it would look like on the hopper. Doesn't fit but its close enough for the picture. --- Post updated --- Heres a better offroad style door. Its kinda like the same style as the last one. I tried to make this one more to scale with the hopper. There are still some clipping issues but thats something im not great at fixing.
Few issues so far: 1. Diesel Semi does not work with Snorkel making it undesirable for some cases. The Snorkel does not actually function, it still shows up, but is pointless. 2. The axles on High Lift Frame are very weak and break/aren't straight after the first time you move. Another problem is the wheel is not close to the wheel hub. 3. The Honeycomb Tires pop extremely easy especially the one's on the 20x14 rims. 4. Other things which have already been pointed out and you are fixing. The reason I use the High Lift Frame instead of 4-Link is because the Differential on the 4-Link is really big and gets caught easily on the ground/rocks. I've been using this mod since the night it was released, it's great to see the support for it and how it's coming along. Good Luck and good work!
