Getting much closer to an update guys... Sorry to keep everyone waiting but I've been ironing out as many bugs as I can while trying to increase to performance and moving house at the same time. Life is a little hectic at the moment but this is coming along nicely. I'm trying to condense a lot of parts into single tunable items to reduce the mountain of stuff I have to work with for each small change. I'm getting there but its been a rather time consuming process, hopefully it will pay off with more options than we had before and less parts cluttering the menu's, as well as quicker updates in the future and smaller file sizes.
You are an absolute legend mate. If i ever need a beta tester you win. Purely based on your awesome attitude. It's just a lot of small things to tie together now... I'll get around to releasing a couple of trays for the 6x6 as well at some point. I've got the front weights working under the front bumper slot and they make a huge difference on the hills. They are adjustable between 5 and 500kg extra weight added the the front most nodes of any hopper chassis. 5th wheel hitch is also working and I've towed some pretty heavy loads with it but I need to add about 18 inches to the chassis to make it capable of pulling the big trailers without major issues and probably double the ballast capacity at the same time.
The Nodes will be a huge help, especially with the short wheelbase of the hopper. Appreciate the thought of beta testing, might be fun. As far as the Attitude, I'd rather someone do the time and make it right, rather than just pump out bugged material. And the 5th wheel could be interesting as well, now we need a crawler trailer.
Are you using the latest version on page 32 or 33 I think it is? The version you want is v0902 from memory.. It's been a while since my last upload though and it does contain a few bugs/depreciated parts that have been fixed or replaced in the coming update I haven't been able to update the latest version on the first page as I'm not the OP but I'll be getting an update out in the near future and starting a new thread to reduce confusion. Hope this helps mate. Otherwise the best I can suggest for you is to clear the cache at the moment and see if that helps.
It is on page 32 about mid to 3/4 of the way down, I agree when textures get muddy i clear cache and it seems to help
he has talked about making both a truggy and a rock bouncer, so it is possible that a baja type of setup could come as well. there is an outdated baja type truck in the mods section, i could like it to you. it's outdated, but works fine on the current updates
One for the baja boys is definitely going to be done. It's just a matter of time at the moment as I'm in the middle of moving about 300kms I have a lot of the modelling done already, it just needs to be jbeamed and tuned... --- Post updated --- I've taken most of the inspiration for the baja version from this...
Wow that's really cool, but it's seems more fitting for a trophy truck then a jeep. Any thoughts on a more class3 style build?
Yeah dude I like the look of the little class 3 one. I plan on working on this for a fair while so there is definitely a chance it could happen. Feel free to pm me a few pics / details of the suspension etc and I'll look into it.
XD wish I could send you a picture of the suspension, that side shot is the only picture of that jeep online other then then model of it in Baja edge of control, sadly I no longer own a Xbox to play the game and get pictures for you ether. :Edit honestly I would be happy with a 4 link set up that dident jack the car up sky high, the cage and tire rack set up from that jeep and a truck cab version of the body so the back not just wide open.
There is a raise and lower feature in the suspension, he calls it air ride. you hit the page up key to raises it and Page down to lower it. not sure how low it'll go, but I've lowered mine about 3-4 inches ( perspective) from the regular height. In the suspension settings, you can also lower the ride height as well. Using both you should be able to get it pretty low. Edit:I included some pics showing how it works. First one is his base XLWB hopper with no changes. The second is max height (Air adjustment only), third is lowest (air adjustment only) and the 4th is with the tuned suspension height and air at the lowest possible setting. Hope this helps you, I did not do a maxed out (air and tuning), because you were wanting it lower
Hmm that could work, if it dident have a 1 1/2 ton axle under it. I wonder how low it will droop like that. Really the hopper needs more travel, hitting any real bump with it over 50mph is tempting the beaming rollover gods :edit, huu the 4 link offers bypass rates for the shocks, that would be amazingly helpful for my baja config. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd....488/B6ACE9D0E028A56E19AA1B0204F9BE534B892FCE/ if you guys want the simple suspension mod i made here ya go :3 :
Check your secondary paint color. (Or was it the 3rd one) I figured out that you can color the rollcage and such try that.
I did that too --- Post updated --- It was working the previous day and then i started it up the next and i have the pumpkin king lol i painted the roll cage to match
