UPDATE: I THINK MY MOD IS BAD, KEEP THE VANILLA VERSION

    OLD:

This is a tiny change but for me it makes all the difference when driving, especially drifting.

    So what does it do?
It changes the gforce input data fed to the wheel. That means this mod doesnt give you more ffb or less ffb, it gives you OTHER ffb.

I can keep the car On The Edge, feel the limits of the grip far better even though its possibly a somewhat subtle ffb difference but it makes it more distinct, nimble, predictable and intuitive. Way easier to catch overrotating, far better left foot braking.

If this mod does what i think it does its more of a fix than a mod. Could be completely wrong and its all in my head too but try it and delete it if you dont like it :)

Until on the repo, drop the content (the lua-folder) from the zip file into your

    C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.32 -folder

What does it do exactly ? Is it about where the g-forces for the side accel feedback is sampled ?

Im no expert in lua and beamng code but if I understood everything correct then the vanilla uses (sensors.gx) which indicates its g-forces along the x-axis for g-forces for cars but it does seem like the x-axis is actually longitudinal/in the cars direction. Ive changed it to (sensors.gy) which seems to be the actual side forces when looking at the axis for the cars. Gives me a better feel of the weight transfer and limit of grip IMO.

That would be weird lol, usually the x axis is the sideways one tho, it's weird if they mixed it up

Someone made a mod for the Wheel FFB that is actively being worked on, but not for the gamepad FFB which has a desperate need.

    *DEEP INHALE*

Seems like a nice mod, but my skinny wallet can't afford a FFB wheel to try it out with. :p

Wasnt that embarrassing lol, updated the first post.., hopefully i got the right file now :D
Im COMPLETELY open to being in the wrong here but this mod works good for my driving. I do think its kinda weird that the x-axis isnt sideways when you select the player in World Editor but that doesnt mean that the sensors.gx has the same orientation i guess... o_O

It's the global x axis i think, so the car can rotate and it won't be the same. It makes sense you would feel more weight transfer if it's on the y axis tho

You gotta have side accel feedback on

Would give should i say intresting ffb. Played around with the code(s) alot but far from happy yet. Been looking at this paper

    https://publications.lib.chalmers.se/records/fulltext/208873/208873.pdf

Which has some great parts but I dint know all the Beamng lingo so I cant really apply any of the usable parts.
