Looking really good! I love that the Yamato is there, I literally jumped up and down in excitement when I saw it, keep up the good work. Also this is probably a known issue but buildings texture de-render when you move away from them.
Those are the lods, the map is inplayably laggy without them as the textures are 50% of the load on the game.
It's a pain to load it but it's worth it ! It looks good, it's fun to take a small offroader in the hills.
Update released 0.26 compatability (parking spaces, fixed lua) and improved water/lighting Full CK changelist: - Updated lua to work with BeamNG lua startup - Added reverb in some areas - Added slap delays for buildings and bridges - Added environmental sounds - Added parking sites Work on ryukyu is underway, currently preparing to get it ingame as all the model stuff should now be done (fingers crossed nothing comes up)
the textures for the road takes some time to load, buildings will be really simplified at a mild distance but still a very good, visually stunning map!
Map updated for 0.28, I've updated the plates so they're no longer broken and brought them inline with my more modern plates, so there's both old and new versions now. File in the first post
Since we've learned a lot since last year, we decided it's best to rework the whole map from square one. Thanks to that it will look way closer to the original. We not only added way better materials but also imported all the props that were missing in the original version. There is some polishing needed to do but overall it's close to being ready to post it here as an update. In addition, we introduced fully animated objects and vegetation is now responding to the wind system that BeamNG uses. In the meantime, I will leave you with something, that a few years ago I thought was completely absurd.
