Buddy the devs who made this game the mods is free and always will be free you cannot go against the guidelines of it, and plus they dont have to.
the cons of doing it you will have find a way for a updated version, and plus beamng drive gets updated the mod would get useless, and if you lost the mod goodluck paying for another one.

ton of mods that do better than paid ones even people can just leak them on other sites
