I have been working on volumetric clouds for BeamNG for some time now, and I've decided to enter paid early access to support the continuous development. These will be free upon release. Early access: https://www.patreon.com/chipboard/
I've been following your progress on the beamng discord for a bit and I think this awesome! Looking forward to future progress
Holy this is going to take planes in Beam to the next level! Can’t wait for release so I’m surely gonna get EA
Lmao another thing the developers keep forgetting about. New features and improvements on the game as a whole, other than cars and map updates. Gets old after a while. Great work, looks amazing
You do realize the that the devs can't focus on one single thing like if everyone were to focus on volumetric clouds, how much help would the 3d artists and JBeam creators be? Either way the devs already have a lot to work on, for example aerodynamics rework, tire wear/thermals, now these things takes a lot of research and time in order to simulate them both realistically and lag free
This game needs to be more lag free who cares if new additions are lag free if the base game can't run on full graphics with a rx 5700 xt and still look like a 13 year old game. Gta IV looked better imo
Have you ever considered that your RX 5700 is old trash? Keep your hardware up to date if you want to play games on max settings. Clouds look great by the way!
DELETED by me because I won't argue with rich people . Also I think these clouds might be added on a actual release one day.
This truly deserve a staff pick, been wanting this for a long time, along with volumetric fog and a bunch of other modern game gfx stuff
I mean isn't this due to the fact that Gta 4 is a way less complex game, also BeamNG is soon to be 11 years old so saying it looks like a 13 year old game would kind of make sense
Excuse me, but not all of us have the money to invest in a new multi-hundred dollar graphics card. Keep your "I'm richer than you" trash to yourself. --- Post updated --- That's the good stuff. Keep up the graphically good work.
