PC Help Needed

    Now, I'm not one to ask for computer help, but this problem has defeated me. I currently have a 2009 HP Pavillion G60-507DX laptop. It runs Windows 8 and I'm having a slight problem. I'm trying to run one of my favorite games, Hot Wheels: Velocity X. Shut up, it's a good game. Anyways, It'll start fine and the beginning credits roll fine, but the gameplay and menus are SLOW. I mean like 2 FPS slow. It's a Single-Core Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.2GHz, 2GB Ram, Intel GMA 4500M. I just need help to fix this problem by TOMORROW as i'm going on a trip with my schools marching band. Thanks for any help as always!

    Try running in compatibility mode for XP or 2000 or whatever OS it originally supported. If that fails, a reinstall might work?
