Try to focus on your graphics card for now, 2 years from now is a long time and closer to date there will be many more (and better) CPUs
ok my OFFICIAL choice will be the 260x - - - Updated - - - I have another off topic question... how can I be ranked to senior member or member? - - - Updated - - - I have another off topic question... how can I be ranked to senior member or member?
Well, I did absolutely nothing to became member sooo... I guess it's just a time and/or post count question...
I need 3 more posts to become a member. lol - - - Updated - - - Weirdly I see people that have the "beamng drive.tester" or something like that and I saw a custom rank. Do you know how?
If you go into your profile settings there is a setting which lets you change that small piece of text (forgotten the exact name), this is what some people have done hence why the tester text is in an assortment of upper/lower case combinations for different people. By default though it says junior member, then at about 50 posts turns to member and eventually senior member, all done via post count. Entirely meaningless. The developer, moderator and BeamNG tags are the only significant ones.
The beamng tester tag is only avalble to people that buy the game in alpha and maybe beta. If you buy the game after full release you will not have the tag. (All IIRC) I hope hero member is still a tag. I want to be a hero.
what? this isnt a post your specs thread, in fact, this is just a thread that the OP made for himself, to ask for help, if your asking weather or not your pc can run it, physics wise, it should, graphics wise, no idea, because you didnt list your graphics card
AMD FX4100 Processor (Upgrading Soon To Intel (TM) Core i7 Extreem) ASUS Geforce GT40: 2 GB DDR3 MSI 760GM-P34 FX Motherboard 1 Tb Hard Drive + 80 GB Hard Drive Blu Ray Disk Drive Cooler Master 700 Watts Power Supply
Ok. First off; this thread was old. It didn't really need another post. Secondly, it isn't a post your specs thread. We do have one though. Thirdly; that poor GT640 is actually about the same as the integrated graphics in that CPU IIRC, meaning that upgrading to an i7, much less an i7 extreme, would be a bit of a waste. Good luck! EDIT: Yes, I just saw that that post is 11 hours old. I saw minutes.
