I hate having it people judge you. But when I told my friends they said I never would've guessed that you had it. I kind of obsess about different things when I'm in my school like Trump and Buick. What kind of treatment is there.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD (which is not identical to autism, though they share similar traits) when I was in Grade 4, after my parents found out I was struggling immensely in elementary school, so they took me to their family doctor, who diagnosed me from there.

ADHD is generally defined in 2 main categories, inattentiveness and hyperactivity/impulsiveness. Let's look at all the symptoms in these 2 sectors, shall we?

    INATTENTIVENESS:
    • Having a short attention span and being easily distracted.
    • Making careless mistakes - for example, in schoolwork.
    • Appearing forgetful or losing things.
    • Being unable to stick at tasks that are tedious and/or time-consuming.
    • Appearing to be unable to listen to and/or carry out instructions.
    • Constantly changing activity/task.
    • Having difficulty organizing tasks.
    HYPERACTIVITY/IMPULSIVENESS:
    • Being unable to sit still, especially in calm/quiet surroundings.
    • Being unable to concentrate on tasks.
    • Excessive physical movement.
    • Excessive talking.
    • Being unable to wait their turn.
    • Acting without thinking.
    • Interrupting conversations.
    • Little to no sense of danger.

I have Aspergers, but I only knew that after seeing a doctor, while I was... I don't know ? Maybe 14 or 15 years old.
That's a bit late to know that you suffer from that kind of syndrom, and that explained why I was so different from the typical boys. I also have an extreme interest in cars since I was born (I tend to be interested by almost every vehicles that exist). The thing is that I wasn't good at talking with other boys that were my age, because I was used to talk of cars with my dad, while they were talking of things like soccer, wrestling or even Pokémon cards. I feel like only a few people didn't misunderstood me.
I also have a strong interest in World War 2.
I don't know if it has something to do with Asperger syndrome, but I love to learn new things. Not the kind of things you would learn in class, the kind of things you have to search yourself. Like reading random Wikipedia pages and things like that (or learning to mod Rigs of Rods or BeamNG.drive :p).
My strong interest in cars caused me to be quite surprised when one of my friends asked my chemistry teacher "What is a piston engine ?" and I was like "You are 16 and you still don't know what is it ?".
I also prefer to stay at home to use my computer, instead of seeing friends. It's not that I dislike seeing friends, but I usually feel like I'm a partypooper.
Anyway, here's my two cents for this topic, sorry if I made some mistakes, English isn't my first language.

Software engineers unite! Currently doing web app development for the biggest energy company in my area. One of the directors in my department likes my webapps so much, he uses them for his metrics and whatnot :)
