Performance issues with AMD GPUs

Hi,

first of all, I don't think I have a complete potato PC, game definitely runs in much nicer quality a more FPS than on old MSi laptop.

AMD 5600X (not overclocked)
32GB RAM
RX 6700XT 12GB (not overclocked)

I have stable 35-40 FPS, which isn't terrible, but it drops to 20, which is not great.


Would like to see 60+FPS if possible, while not significantly dropping the visuals. Any recommendations or tested settings for similar/same setup?

the new update completely killed the performance on my amd system. i used to get 100 fps in west coast usa but now im barley getting 60 and thats without traffic. with traffic i get sub 20. amazing work guys. best update in the history

 

Vulkan runs with almost the same FPS for me with 5600X/RX6800 on high-ultra settings mix in UWQHD. Massive feat considering the huge graphics rework plus clouds and all that stuff

 

I am having a very weird issue with Beam.NG with my AMD. it's a AMD 9800x3d and AMD Radeon 9070 XT, and The game freezes when it loads into a map, and crashes. it stays on the not responding screen until I close it from steam. When the Processor is off, the game loads and works, but is very laggy. here's some images from what happens.

 

The game won't launch on Vulkan with my AMD 780M GPU. The initial loading stuck at loading UI

 

Normal settings (apparently about comparable to 0.38.6 Ultra), down to 40 fps (compared to 60 fps 0.38 ultra) on intensive maps like West Coast USA.
