    USAF (Flight 100)
USAF Flight 100 was a B-25 that was on a test flight over the Nevada Desert . Suddenly, the plane suffered a Structural failure in flight causing bad damages to the plane controls . The plane manged to land safely after 15m of fighting the high speed wings .
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Flight 100 taking off from Grooved Test Range Airfield 2 weeks before the crash [1959])
    Date : 15th of March / 1959
Summary : Structural failure in flight
Site : Nevada Military Airbase (Grooved Test Range Airfield now)
    Crew : 6
    Total fatalities : 0
    Total Survivors : 6
    Total Injuries (non-fatal) : 6
Aircraft type : North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber
    Registration : BLK-149
Plane Name : The NG Airliner
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Aircraft a Crew :
The plane was a North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber that was made in 1942 in a special factory by the USAF , the plane had 12.123 hours in the time of the crash . The crew were : Captain Bob Shaw , Co pilot Marks John , radio operator Bill Louis and the other 3 crew were Some military soldiers . Captain Bob and Co pilot Marks had many flights with each other and knew the plane . Both had over 9500h flying the B-25 . They made all their flights together in a plane they nicknamed the "NG Airliner" .
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flight , the failure , returning to the airport :
The plane was on a test flight that day . Everything was going OK In the flight until the Dorsal gun broke from the plane in mid flight , the plane started to bank to the left because of high speed winds that almost destroyed the plane . The crew members actions were amazing . They were calm and manged to control the rudder in the position of the winds even when almost all the controls in their plane were damaged . They called the ATC That cleared Runway 18 for them , even with the bad damages to their plane they manged to land .
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Investigation :
The BNSB came to the sight after some hours . They went to talk the crew that told them that the Dorsal gun broke for no reason . The Dorsal Gun was recovered but with heavy damages due to the high fall . But the BNSB looked better at the gun and found that the nails were completely eaten . The reason was investigated a lot . At the end , the plane history showed some bad repairs through the years . The nails were not replaced at all . The BNSB Report came after 3 months when the plane was repaired and returned to service and its surviving till this day , the BNSB Report :

    - Structural failure in flight due to bad repairs .
    - Lost most of the controls than landed safely .
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1970 B-25 Bombing Test Flight Crash
The 1970 B-25 Bombing Test flight crash happened in Nevada Grooved Test Range Airfield when a B-25 Was destroyed in mid flight after a failure on the plane .
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(The B-25 that is involved in the accident . Here it can be seen just seconds before the crash)
    Date : 12th of November / 1970
Summary : In flight Bomb Cargo Door failure causing an explosion
Site :Grooved Test Range / Nevada
    Crew : 3
    Total fatalities : 1
Total Survivors : 2 (Badly injured)
Aircraft type : North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber
    Registration : 701 IB
    Plane Name : Old Destroy
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Plane a flight :
The plane was a Restored North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber which was used in the WW2 . The plane had 2 Good crew and one new military training pilot the crew were : Captain Terry Jason and Co-Pilot Mike Tom and the training pilot was Carl Mclear .
Both crew members wanted to try the restored B-25 in a bombing test flight (dropping bombs on the desert) , and that actually happened . In 12th of November they had permission to do the flight and everything was going OK . The plane Toke off at 4:22 AM .
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Crash :
At 4:29 AM The ground crew and ATC called Pilot Terry and told him that the cargo door is half opened . The crew than noticed how much the bad damages was , thanks to Carl Mclear who told them about it . At 4:31 The plane dropped one of the bombs to see what the cargo door will do , the door got stuck with one of the bombs being half out of the plane and half inside , the crew knew that something bad is going to happen so they started to turn but suddenly, at 4:34 The plane exploded in mid air causing a gaint fire ball to appear . The plane turned into small and big pieces in seconds and Carl Mclear died instantly at the crash but Captain Terry and Co-pilot Mike some how survived with bad injures , Captain Terry never flew again . The fireball was controlled by fire fighters at 5:11 AM .

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Investigation :
The USAF Safety Bored came to the sight the next day and they were told about the cargo door failure the plane had . Furthermore, Captain Terry told them that he heard some very weird sounds while taking off . The USAF SB made a long investigation and after 2 months of collecting photos and eye witnesses accounts the report came out and it included the following :

    • In flight Cargo Door failure caused by wrong repairs made to the plane 1 year before the crash .
    • Explosion due to a sharp turn and bomb damages (bombs were damaged because of the opened door)
The NTSB released some photos of the accident and the CVR to the public .

    B-25 Crash Landing (1959)
The B-25 1959 crash landing happened in Nevada Interstate when a WW2 B-25 Bomber plane crash landed in a field after a failure on the plane .
    -----------------------------------------------------

(the plane involved in the accident)
    Date : 1st Of October / 1959
    Location : Nevada Interstate
Summary : In-flight Double engine failure caused by propeller damages due to bird strike

    Crew : 6
    Total Survivors : 6
    Total injures (non-fetal) : 6
    Total Fatalities : 0
Aircraft Type : North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber
    Registration : 55

    Plane Name : Secret Killer
    Aircraft / Crew / Crash :
The Aircraft was a North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber that was used in WW2 . the plane had 6 crew and was on a test flight on Nevada Interstate .
The plane toke off from the Old Military Base located next to a small town in the Nevada Interstate . (The airport was abandoned but the B-25 Was forced to take off from that airport because the second main airport in the Nevada Interstate had a crash of a DC-3) . The plane went up a little but the crew noticed that they were losing altitude , the crew that noticed that the plane engines stopped and decided to land on a flat area next to a busy road . The plane crash landed at 4:12 AM before Sunset , a military police Burnside special saw the plane crash and went there as fast as possible . All the crew were OK but the plane was damaged a little bit.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Investigation :
The Military Safety Bored made a secret investigation on the crash because people on Nevada Interstate were confused and said that the DC-3 Crash and the B-25 Crash was due to bombing but the MSB denied that and realised the crash report 3 months later and here what come from the report :

    • In Flight Propeller failure caused by a bad repairs to the plane engine after a bird strike that happened 2 months before the crash
    • Crash landed on a field
    Aftermath :
The crew were given the Great Pilot award by the Military .
Some photos were realised by the MSB including the crash sight and the crash photo.

Plane Crash in Nevada Military Airfield
In 1954 , a small plane crashed in the Nevada Military Airfield . The plane was a Cessna O-1 Bird dog that was on a test flight and was given the name "NG 12"
The plane had 2 crew and both survived.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Flight / Crash :

The Cessna O-1 Bird dog had 2 crew and was on a test flight In Nevada. The plane taxied to Runway 36 but crashed during take off. A B-25 Was taking off from runway 18 and stopped the take off when the crew saw the Cessna brutal crash than they called the ATC , he called a police military Burnside that went to the crash sight and helped the crew to go out of the plane.
    Investigation :

(The plane wreckage seen at the right side of the photo , the B-25 can be seen on the runway)
    Summary : Pilot Error
    Crew : 2
    Survives : 2
    Injures (non fatal) : 2
Date : Some Time in 1954
    Location : Nevada Military Airfield
    Registration : "NG 12"
The pilot told the investigators that the plane had trouble gaining speed while taking off. And it was found that the pilot put the wrong flaps settings and toke off under the the taking off speed which caused a bank to the right , the pilot couldn't control the plane because he shut the engine down.

    1992 Strato HMX 920 Crash
In 1992 a Starto HMX 920 crashed into a dirt road in Jungle Rock Island. The crash resulted the death of the pilot (Tim Petersen) and the plane was totaled.
    -----------------------------------------------------
    Crash a recovery :
Tim Petersen (the pilot) [aged 46] toke off the Strato HMX at 2:31 PM , he toke off without any problems and made a routine flight just like any day but the problem happened when he was returning to the airport. He crashed into a dirt road sometime when the sun was rising but no one noticed the crash. At 7:16 AM a sheriff police car was driving at the road and was shocked from what he saw. He transported Tim Petersen to the nearest hospital but Tim died next day from his injures . His plane was completely destroyed and wasn't repaired.
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Investigation :
The crash cause remains unknown till this day . But some people said an engine failure could have brought down the plane and others said that some winds moved the flag (that was connected to the plane) and caused the plane to lose control. The Jungle Rock Island police said that : "No one knows what happened there , we hope to Tim Petersen to rest in peace". The police released two photos , the first shows Tim's Strato HMX 2 months before the crash and the 2nd one shows the crash wreckage and sight.
What do you guys think brought down the plane ?

    1979 Socata ST 10 Disappearance
In 1979 , a Socata ST 10 With 2 crew and 2 passengers disappeared in Jungle Rock Island in mid flight while flying over the waters close to the lighthouse. The plane right wing was found but other parts and the 4 people in bored were never found.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plane , Flight a last CVR words :
The plane was a Socata ST 10 That was made in 1960 , the plane had 4000h flying hours and had no accidents record before the disappearance.
The crew were a Pilot and a Co-Pilot , both had 3200h flying experience with the Socata ST 10. 2 passengers were aboard the plane and they from the Socata Company.
The flight was a made to test the plane performances. The plane toke off sometime from 3:44 AM - 4:02 AM from the Jungle Rock Island airport. After 9m of flying the plane disappeared from the ATC radar and search planes were sent around the island. At 6:34 AM a Cessna Model 305 Prototype found the right wing of the plane near the lighthouse waters. Although they found the wing, no other parts were found in the 9 months searching of the plane. The ATC saved the pilots last words and gave them to the investigators. The Crew last words were released to the public and here are the last words from the crew written by the ATC :
Co-Pilot : Propeller checked , Lights checked , flaps checked , anything more to check out Bob ?
Pilot : Yea , the rudder. Lets do some smooth turnings!
Co-Pilot : We are going to the right , are we ?
    Pilot : Yes we are.
Passenger : I think they are working very good.
    *End of the call*
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possible Reasons / Crash myths :

(The plane's right wing that was found by the Cessna)
    Date : 21/June/1979
Summary : Disappearance , reason unknown
    Passengers : 2
    Crew : 2
    Fatalities : 4 (Presumed)
    Survivors : 0 (Presumed)
    - The reason of the crash is still unknown tell this day but many theories said that the plane was shot down or there was a bomb in the plane but that was later denied. Another theory said that a rudder failure or Hardover might caused the crash , the reason was good but without parts of the tail this can't be true.
The investigators said the crash reason is unknown after 9 months of searching. Some photos were released to the public and here are some of the photos :

    1985 Utah Mid Air Collision
The Mid air collision over Utah was one of the deadliest crashes in Utah that year. The crash happened on the 6th of April when a B-25 Bomber collided with a Socata ST 10 killing 4 people on the Socata.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Total survivors : 6
Total Injures (Non fatal) : 6
    Total Fatalities : 0
    Name : Bird Bomber
    Registration : B12
    Flights a Collision :
The first flight was MaxNG flight 1054 a Socata ST 10. The plane had 2 crew and 2 passengers on bored and had a flight from Utah Airport To Nevada (Study flight) than back to Utah airport.
The second flight was a restored B-25 From the WW2 . The plane had 6 crew and wanted to make a flight over Nevada and Utah to test the plane.
Both planes were flying close to each other but the Socata 10 was above the B-25 By 2000 feet. At 9:31 AM the B-25 was flying normally but suddenly, the plane's main gear was destroyed and dropped to the ground at a speed of 300mph that destroyed it completely. The B-25 Crew made a successful crash landing on one of Utah's mountains.
At first the B-25 Crew thought that the gear was destroyed because of metal fatigue with the gear but it was the shocking news from the rescue team that told the crew about a plane crash near the area where the landing gear was lost. The Utah police and the NTSB Started an investigation into the crash. and the investigation included the following (read investigation).
    -------------------------------------------------

    Investigation :
The NTSB and the Utah police knew that a mid air collision happened but they wanted to know what caused that. The Police visited the Air traffic control tower to get the ATC Recorder.
Everything seemed OK with the call between the Socata and the ATC but everything turned into a nightmare at 9:26 AM, the pilot of the Socata asked the ATC if he can go down to 12000 Feet (The altitude the B-25 was flying at) and the ATC told the Pilot that its OK to go down. The ATC Didn't notice the B-25 At his radar flying at 12000 but he finally did at 9:29 AM but it was 2 late. He asked the B-25 To go above to 13000 Feet not noticing that the Socata Is still going down. At 9:31 AM The Socata hit the gear of the B-25 causing it to drop 12000 feet.
2 Photos were taken, the first one shows the B-25 Crash landing scene taken by the crew as a memory photo and the 2nd one shows the destroyed Socata.

1960 Nevada Military Air Base Runway Disaster
(warning: bad grammar because I'm tired and its really late at night here)
In 1960, 2 Planes collided on runway 18 at Nevada Military Air Base. The crash killed 2 crew members and damaged both planes very badly. The crash investigation and actions led to safer crew training. The crash was listed in the worst disasters to happen in Nevada list.
    ------------------------------------------------

Planes , crew and flights :
    ----------------------------------------------------
1960 Nevada Military Airbase Runway crash
Summary : Runway incursion caused by Pilot error on the Cessna
Date : The Summer of 1960
    Total survivors : 6
    Total fatalities : 2
    ---------------------------------------------------
    First Aircraft

(The plane involved in the accident, here the plane can be seen making a late runway take off preformed by captain Ton Jonson (the captain of this aircraft in the accident)
Type : Cessna O-1 Bird Dog
    Owned by : USAF
    Crew : 2
    Survivors : 0
    Fatalities : 2
    Registration : RS 128
The first aircraft was a Cessna O-1 Bird dog that was made in 1951. The plane had flown 6000 hours before the crash. The plane was on route from Nevada to Utah. The crew of the plane were captain Ton Jonson and Co-Pilot Teddy Mark, Ton had 8620 Flying hours while Teddy had 7300 flying hours.
The plane was totaled after the crash and the remains of it were put on a museum located at Utah.

    Second Aircraft

(The B-25 Involved in the accident seen at Nevada Military Airbase before going on a bombing mission at the WW2)
Aircraft Type : North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber
    Crew : 6
    Survivors : 6

    Injures (non-fatal) : 6
    fatalities : 0

    Registration : B212
    Plane Name : Snake Bomber
The 2nd aircraft was a B-25 Mitchell bomber. The plane was used at the WW2 and had flown over the 11000 hours. The plane was nick named Snake Bomber by the crew of the flight (the crew served at the ww2). The captain was Charily Shaw and the Co-Pilot was James Kevin and the other 4 crew were soldiers from the United Army. The plane was on a airport-flight which means the plane wanted to go and park in another airport for some time.
The plane was damaged badly at the crash, the rudder was completely destroyed and the right engine was cut from the wing. The plane is on disable at the same museum where the Cessna wreckage is.

    Ton Jonson :
Captain Ton Jonson was blamed for the accident. Furthermore, it was discovered that he made similar actions to what he had done in this accident when in 1959 he entered runway 18 without permission and caused a B-25 to abort the take off and hit a runway light that caused main gear damages to the B-25. The US Army suspended him for 2 months but he returned for flying after 6 weeks. The NTSB Said that Ton Jonson entered Runway 18 without permission from the ATC and ignored incoming traffic as he almost hit a small pickup truck. 2 photos were taken for the 1959 accident and here are they :

Ton Jonson actions in the 1960 accident were terrible and huge. This time Ton Jonson was taking off on runway 18 but he aborted the take off without telling the ATC, he wanted to get back to the runway without telling the ATC as well. The time was 12:12 PM (middle of the night) And no one could see the B-25 taking off. Ton Jonson made a terrible mistake again when he turned the plane to the right when he heard some engines sounds coming from the runway. That caused him to crash to the B-25 Engines that cut the Cessna into small parts. The collision killed Ton Jonson and Teddy mark instantly. Main while the B-25 crew were struggling to stop the plane that lost most of its controls. They manged to stop the plane at the end of runway 38 and everyone had minor injures. The NTSB blamed Ton Jonson completely. The military asked the NTSB To release the CVR and some photos of the crash and the NTSB agreed. Here are some of them:
    The NTSB Map Report

The moment when a photographer manged to capture the collision

    1995 Nevada Mid Air Collision
The Mid air collision happened in 1995 when a B-25 collided with a Cuban 800 destroying the small cargo airliner. The B-25 Manged to land at Grooved Test Range Airfield with no major damages to the aircraft.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Accident Summary
    Date : 2nd of June / 1995
Summary : Mid Air Collision caused by Pilot error on the Cuban 800 / TCAS off on the Cuban
    First Aircraft

(The plane involved in the accident seen flying at 1994 above the Grooved Test Range Airfield)
Type : North American B-25 Mitchell Bomber
    Crew : 4
    Survivors : 4
    Injures (non fatal) : 2
    Registration : B11245
    Plane Name : Crazy Bomber
    (reference to CRAZY RACER :3)
    Second Aircraft

(The only photo of the Cuban 800 that was involved, here it can be seen flying somewhere in Nevada)
    Type : Cuban 800
    Operator : Beam Cargo
    Registration : C.I.O.S 1256
Flight : Beam Cargo flight 13
Destination : Utah , Salt Lake International Airport
    Crew : 2
    Fatalities : 2
    Survivors : 0
    Flights and crash :
The B-25 was on a long flight from Las Vegas To Nevada, the flight was made to transport some old bombs. 'Crazy Bomber' was one of the few surviving B-25s on Las Vegas so it was picked for this special flight.
The Cuban 800 was owned by Beam Cargo, the plane was 20 years old and had flown 24.000h.
The crew of the Cuban were 2 of the first pilots to fly with Beam Cargo, both had over 11.000h flying with each other on different planes and they knew the Cuban so good. The Plane was on a cargo flight from McCarran International Airport to Salt Lake International Airport.
The B-25 was traveling at 16:000 feet at a speed of 140mph on the other side the Cuban was traveling at 15:000 feet at a speed of 90mph (The plane was climbing to 17:000). The ATCs Were on rest so they didn't notice the deadly incoming disaster. Luckily, one of the ATC got up after a call from the B-25 asking for traffic clearance, the ATC saw that both planes were so close to each other and couldn't do anything. At 4:23 AM, the B-25 Clipped the wing of the Cuban causing it to drop without any chance of getting up. The B-25 crew struggled to get control back and they managed to get it at 4:25 AM after a deep stall. At 4:30 The B-25 manages to land at Grooved Test Range without any trouble. On the other side, the Cuban disappeared from the radars and weren't found for at least 4 days.
On the 7th Of June a climber team van found the wreckage of the Cuban 800 on one of the mountains with no signs of survivors.
    ------------------------------------------
    Reason of the crash :
The NTSB made a fast investigation on the crash because theories of a possible shut down were raising every day. The NTSB Gathered every possible fact of both planes and flights on a secret investigation that continued for several weeks. On the 1st of July the crash report came out, the report had shocking discovers and Beam Cargo got a bad effect from the crash, the crash report included the following :

    • The Cuban 800 entered a military flying space without permission
    • The Crew of the Cuban 800 turned off the TCAS because a Beam Cargo engineering team ordered that
    • The Cuban 800 collided with a North American B-25 at 4:23 AM on an altitude of 15:900 feet.
Some photos of the crash with their back stories :

The moment the Cuban 800 plunged to the ground after the tail was struck by the B-25 (tail damages can be seen)

The B-25 Made a successful return to the airfield, here it can be seen flying to the airfield with smoke coming out of the point where the plane was hit.

2 photos showing the B-25 Landing , the landing was one of the best emergency landings on Grooved Test Range, these 2 photos remains one of the airfield historical photos.

RIP to both crew members who lost their lives. The photo of Flight 13 remains one of Beam Cargo's best photos. As its one of the few Cuban 800 photos other reason : the plane had few other crashes.

    USAF 1951 Cessna L19 Crash
In 1951, a Cessna L19 crashed in the 'Ghost Desert'. The crash killed both crew members and the reason of the crash is still in dispute till this day.
    --------------------------------------
Plane / Flight a possible crash reason :

The plane was a completely new floating Cessna L19 (0-1 Bird Dog). The plane had 243 total flying hours.
The crew of the plane were 2 new USAF pilots. Captain Jim had 1243 flying hours and First Officer Peter had 940 flying hours.
The crew wanted to make a discovering flight above the 'Ghost Desert' one of the few unexplored deserts back in 1951.

(The Wreckage of the Cessna L19)
    Date : 5th of May / 1951
    Site : Ghost Desert
    Summary : Disputed
    - In flight break up due to metal fatigue (MSB)
    - Mid Air Collision (BNTSB)
Aircraft type : Float Cessna L19 Bird dog
    Crew : 2
    Fatalities : 2
    Survivors : 0
    Registration : 74
    - The cause of the accident is still in dispute to this day, the MSB Thinks the plane broke up in mid air due to metal fatigue in the wing but this is not confirmed as no tests were made to see if the plane's wing had metal fatigue.
The 2nd cause comes from the BNTSB, they say that the plane most likely collided with another military plane the army are covering everything up. One of the plane's 'floats' was away from the wreckage, the problem that the investigators moved all the wreckage in one site for investigating what happened. This makes the BNTSB Theory better.

In memory of the 2 crew members who lost their lives in this crash.

2017 Nevada Interstate Strato HMX 920 Crash
On the 3rd of May / 2017 a Strato HMX 920 Race type aircraft crashed at the top of a mountain near the Nevada Interstate. The crash killed the 54 Years old Robert Gandy, a pilot who had over 22000 flying hours with the strato. He was a former USAF pilot as well.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    Plane / Flight / Crash a responses :
The plane was a 25 years old Strato HMX 920. It was a normal type HMX but it was changed to the race type by the owner of it, Pilot Robert Gandy.
Robert Gandy was flying his plane just like everyday. This time the plane had a flag connected to it. The flag was a 'BeamNG' flag, it showed how Captain Robert loved the video game.
A police officer was following the plane because it was flying in a low altitude and had trouble with gaining speed. The officer said the pilot of the plane put the plane on a nose down position to gain some speed, the officer told the investigators this :

Officer : He successfully gained some speed and started to fly well again so I stopped following him. After that at 5:34 AM I received a call from a parked car in one of roads near me, the owner of the car said a plane crashed into a mountain and the plane turned into peaces.
The officer reached the crash site but it was to hard to climb the mountain so he did the following :
Officer : I called emergency services to the spot because it was to hard to climb that mountain, they came around 6 AM or something and pulled the pilot out of the wreckage but sadly he was already dead.
At 7 AM on the morning the Nevada police informs the family of Robert Gandy about his death.
An experienced team of investigators were called on the spot. They are currently investigating the crash. ( They got some facts about the crash to find them read Investigation )
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Investigation :
A team of NTSB investigators reached the crash site at 9 AM. On the 5th of May they discovered some facts and possible things that brought the plane down.
The team said they might realize the crash report sometime next week but for now here are the facts :

(The plane involved in the accident, here it can be seen flying above the Nevada interstate in 1998)
    Date : 3rd of May / 2017
    Site : Nevada Interstate
    Summary : Under investigation
Aircraft type : Strato HMX 920 Race type
    Crew : 1
    Fatalities : 1
    Survivors : 0
    Injures (non-fatal) : 2 On the ground
    Registration : BM-NGD 19
    Name : Flying Wife
The NTSB are focusing on 3 things

    • Possible Pilot error
    • Engine failure
    • Other factors that can lead into a CFIT
The investigators are going to update this post every time new facts are discovered for now we hope Captain Robert Gandy to rip.
Some photos were taken from the crash site and we are going to show the most recent ones

    Update :
The NTSB did the following things in the last hours of the investigation :

    • They looked back at the history of the pilot and the plane but found nothing
    • The NTSB Looked at the history of the Banner-Type accidents that happened in the most recent years. They found that these type of accidents happened many times. The most well known is probably The 1979 Socata ST 10 crash
The NTSB are now investigating the Banner that was connected to the plane's tail and they are looking for every tail part of the plane.
    Update :
NTSB investigators says they might have discovered what caused the fatal crash.
They said that they will release the Investigation report next month, as well as the plane's CVR.

In Memory Of Captain Robert Gandy
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    2017 2nd Strato HMX 920 Crash
On 5th of May / 2017 , a new crash occurred in Nevada Interstate after another Strato HMX 920 Crashed last night, 2 days after the fatal crash of Robert Gandy's Plane. The plane crash landed on the abandoned airfield next to the Wind Turbines farm. The Pilot of the plane survived.
    Plane / Crash :
The Plane was a Strato HMX 920, built in 1991 as a test flight plane and sold to a 61 years old pilot in 2016. The plane had a banner connected to it at the time of crash as a memory for Captain Robert Gandy who died 2 days ago in a fatal plane crash.
The plane was flying at Nevada Interstate with no problems but suddenly, around 7 AM after sunrise the plane hit terrain causing bad damages to it (Broken main gear and tail structure damage). The pilot manged to land the plane at 7:22 AM. He had minor injures only and his plane was sent to repair.
    Cause :

(The plane after hitting the terrain)
    Date : 5th of May / 2017
    Site : Nevada interstate
Summary : In flight- Lose of speed caused by over-weighted banner which caused the plane to hit terrain and crash land at an abandoned airfield.
    Crew : 1
    Survivors : 1
    Injures (non-fatal) : 1
    Registration : ST-RO7
The NTSB Came to the crash site as fast as possible. They wear feared that more Strato planes crash in the future so you lunched a big investigation on the crash.
Later that day they found that the banner was over the weight limit which probably caused the plane to lose control. The investigators are now very close to solve the mystery of the 3rd of May crash.

    1976 Nevada Interstate Plane Crash
On the 7th of June / 1976, a Socata ST 10 Crashed near one of the highway roads which caused the death of 2 children and injuring 4. The crash is the 2nd deadliest Socata ST 10 Crash (In Nevada) following the crash of a N60012 At 1972. The crash is the deadliest crash caused by -Banner and Tail failure in flight- On Nevada Interstate.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Background and Crash :
The plane was a Socata ST 10 that was built in 1970, the plane had over 4000 flying hours and was registered as NT054.
The plane had 2 crew and 4 passengers, the crew consts of an experienced pilot named Victor Smith who had over 16000 flying hours and Co-Pilot Ben Smith who had over 6000 flying hours. There were 2 passengers with their 2 years old sons with them. The plane was in a normal flight in Nevada
    Crash :
At around 1 AM (before sunrise) The plane pilot declared an emergency. The ATC Said : 'He said Mayday over the 10 times". The plane hit a face of a stone at around 1:31 AM. The crash killed both children and left the crew and the 2 passengers badly injured.
    Cause :

(The plane involved in the accident, here it can be seen flying above the abandoned Nevada Interstate airfield)
    Date : 7th of June / 1976
    Site : Nevada interstate
Summary : In flight- Tail structure failure caused by banner malfunction
    Crew : 2
    Passengers : 4
    Survivors : 4 (2 crew / 2 passengers)
    fatalities : 2 (2 children)
    Registration : N60012
The NTSB Arrived at the scene the next day. The investigators found from the first few days of the investigation that the plane's tail was badly damaged in flight for some reason. They wanted to know why and they noticed the badly cracked Banner-connect(er) that possibly broke up in mid air and caused the sudden drop. The NTSB Learned that the plane's banner is very old and has been in an accident the last year. The Banner had no repairs after the accident which caused it to break.

    USAF Flight 12435
USAF Flight 12435 was a nickname given for an X-18 That was doing a bomb test in the Nevada Interstate (In 1978). The plane crashed 16m after take off killing both crew members. The flight number is no more used and a memorial was made for both crew members who lost their lives in the crash.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Flight facts / Crash :

The plane was a 6 years old X-18. The plane had 6.531 hours at the time of the crash.
The plane had 2 experienced pilots. Captain Mike Gibson and First officer Max Johns. Captain mike had over 11.000 flying hours mean while the First Officer had 9500 hours.
The plane was in Nevada interstate doing a bomb test flight. The plane toke off at 7:32 PM. Everything was going OK just like any day. Suddenly, the plane Captain declared emergency at 7:47 PM. At 7:48 the plane disappeared from all the radars. At 7:50 PM emergency services made a 4 days search without any success.
But at the 5th day after the crash, a Van found the wreckage of the plane sitting on one of the mountains. Both crew were dead on the scene.
    Cause :
The NTSB arrived at the scene after 1 week. They made a public investigation on the crash because theories about possible shot down or bombing arrived. The NTSB Found that the Front gear of the plane was damaged during take off due to Foreign object damage on the Runway. The object was determined to be a wheel covering part from a B-14 Super Fortress. The damaged gear caused a spark which turned into fire in mid-air. The flames ate the plane causing it to lose control and crash into a mountain.

(The X-18 Involved in the accident. Here it can be seen flying above the Utah mountains)
    Date : 8th of December / 1978
    Site : Nevada Interstate
Summary : Foreign Object Damage that led to Front-gear explosion and fire
    Aircraft Type : X-18

    Crew : 2
    Survivors : 0
    fatalities : 2
    Registration : 12435

1977 SendEx Express Cuban 800 crash (also known as Beam Cargo Flight 1504)
On the 6th of December/1977, a Cuban 800 operated by SendEx Express on behalf of Cloud airlines crashed into the waters near JFK airport. The crash killed both crew members of the plane.

(The Cuban 800 involved seen at JFK airport 2 days before the crash)
    Date : 6th of December / 1977
Site : Near JFK international Airport
Summary : Fuel Starvation combined with Instrument failure
    Aircraft Type : Cuban 800
Operator : SendEx express on behalf of Cloud Airlines
    Flight Origin : Philadelphia
Flight Destination : JFK International Airport
    Registration : VX 447
    Flight Number : 1504
    Crew : 2
    fatalities : 2
    Survivors : 0

    Flight Facts / Crash :
The flight was from Philadelphia To New York than back to Philadelphia. But due to bad weather and traffic on
John F. Kennedy International Airport the plane was sent for a 21m Go around. At 3:34 AM(before sunrise) the plane crashed into the waters near the airport. Both crew members died on the scene.
The plane was an old Cuban 800 made in 1963. The plane was owned by SendEx Express on behalf Of Cloud airlines because the plane sometimes transported people insisted of cargo. The plane had over 30.000 flying hours.
The crew of the plane were 2 highly experienced pilots. Captain Bob Lucas had over 17.000 hours of flying while his Co-Pilot, First officer Winston Charlie had 12.630 total flying hours.
Flight 1504 toke off from Philadelphia heading to New York to deliver special TV(es) To a new news tower that was under construction. The plane approached JFK International Airport with no problems. The weather was cloudy a little bit and the breeze was cool. Suddenly, the ATC told flight 1504 that a DC-7 Is making an emergency landing on Runway 18L (The runway the crew wanted to land in). Captain Bob told the ATC that they are making a Go-around really fast.
On the second approach the ATC cleared a small Cessna plane on Runway 18L forgetting that he had flight 1504 approaching the airport. The ATC quickly tells the crew of flight 1504 and they make a 2nd go around attempt. After 5m, the ATC told Captain Bob that the runway is closed because of a possible report of a crash so the crew of flight 1504 won't land and cause a disaster.
The ATC called flight 1504 and told them that runway 28R is cleared if they want to land but there was no response from the plane. After 4 failed calls with flight 1504 the ATC declares emergency.
On 5:45 AM, the coast guard manged to find the wreckage of the plane near the waters of Runway 28R.
    Non of the crew survived.

    Cause :
The NTSB Arrived at the scene on the next morning. The recovery services manged to find the plane's Cockpit Voice recorder (CVR). The NTSB listened to the CVR and what they heard was sad and shocking, it was said that some investigators cried.
    CVR last words :
CA (captain) : God, what is wrong with this runway today ?
CO (co-pilot) : I Don't know, lets focus on our job now.
CA : OK, check the fuel and get the gears ready I'm going to call him again.
CA to ATC : SendEx Express flight 1504 we are asking if there is another runway cleared right now.
ATC : SendEx Express 1504 runway 28R is cleared right now. I'm going to cut the call because we are having an emergency right now. Good night sir.
CA : Roger and thank you.
CO : Bob we are losing control !
    CA : What ? How ?
CO : I Don't know, the engines are not working. Holy crap we are stalling !
CA : Oh god, get the nose up
    CO : I'm tryinggg . . . ghhhad
CA : Higher higher higher higher
CO : God its not responding !
CA : Come On baby come on !
CO : Bob we are not going to make it.
    "engines sounds are back"
CA : Winston,,, It was nice to work with you.
CO : Hey look we are getting control back !
CA : Oh yea ! Thank god. . . Oh wait a minute...
    "Terrain warning and stall warning"
    CO : God dammit
CA : This is it, we are dead
"Sound of the impact with water"
The NTSB learned that the crew suddenly lost control for some reason, the NTSB started checking the engines and the fuel tank.
The next day, after a long investigation of the plane parts. It was found that the plane's fuel ran out on the 3rd Go-around and the Fuel tank instrument didn't give any warnings about it. The crew reaction were completely amazing but the plane engines flamed out when they got control back causing the plane to drop again.
The crew were honored by SendEx express and Cloud airlines. They are listed as one of the best crew of both airliners.
