    Hmm... I have WinRAR more than a year ago... It still says that it isn't free, but when I close the message I can freely edit...

    As far as I know the only difference between the expired trial version that you can use forever and the paid license version is some kind of watermark the free one leaves in the zip, which doesn't matter for normal people. From what I have read it's a thing for big companies and it's more of a brand image thing, like when someone discovers that a company has been using expired trial WinRar because they can't afford a paid version, that would hurt their credibility. It's a really smart policy tbh.

    So after being distracted by updating my ETK ute mod, I think its finally time to release this very long overdue update
    Player Weapon and Guns update v2.2

    Major changes:
    - NEW infinite ammo system: most of the gun code (originally made by @Agent_Y ) has been revamped for 100 bullets to infinitely cycle through the gun. (Until the bullets fall out of the map)
    - NEW explosion system: Used on the Bazooka, the new explosions teleports a bunch of nodes to the shot node and creates an "explosion" effect, which deals more damage and is really cool. BTW make sure to disable simple traffic vehicles for better damage.

    - NEW force field bullets: bullets that push vehicles away from the player when hit. Completely unrelated to the forcefield from in game, its just something came naturally from my new infinite ammo system.
    - NEW The Holy S*** gun: an insanely destructive version of the minigun. You asked for more damage, and I shall deliver.
    - NEW Player ragdoll after collision feature: does exactly that. Toggleable from the vehicle config menu.
    - NEW Superhuman mode: makes the player faster and jump higher. Toggleable from the vehicle config menu.
    - Lots of other improvements and bug fixes

    Known issues: (These will be fixed at some point)
    - Bullets sometimes fall through the map and disappear, causing the infinite bullets system to not shoot out a bullet. I might be able to fix this by teleporting nodes back up
    - Infinite ammo system sometimes breaks. I haven't had this happen to me in a while, so maybe its fixed, but it could happen.
    - Weapons issues: this update doesn't touch any of the melee weapons. That'll be improved in a later update.
    - Player knock out system is inconsistent, tbh idk how to fix this. I guess im just bad at math.
    - Bullet hit particles could still show even when after being shot, if it's on a moving car. Will fix this in idk it seems hard
    - Lack of mechanical damage: Bullets won't damage mechanical parts. But it can be done with lua. This is something I want to explore soon.

    Sometimes these features won't load properly when the mod is first installed. Restarting the game or CTRL L usually fixes this.

    The new explosion system doesn't seem to work well in BeamMP. There's not much I can really do about that.

    Ok I may have forgot to tune the crosshair for the 5000th time in this update. If you want to deal more damage, remember to aim down a bit. The bullet shoots slightly above the crosshair right now.

    This issues was presented even before this update :
    When having your mod enabled, we cannot Open/Close doors of any vehicle; It Basically Disables the interaction with Vehicle triggers in Walking mode; Your weapon mod also overwrites the actual default walk.lua file ; Please fix this bugs, they are really annoying

    Well there's nothing I can do about not being able to open doors. Just go into free cam and do it. And I have to replace Lua otherwise this mod won't work.

    For me I just change the key bindings to the mouse wheel(of firing the guns so it works like the old D-Series Technical mod), instead of the left button which opens the door. :rolleyes:

    Can't you also just bind the open door keybind to your mouse wheel, shooting with mouse click just makes more sense

    Would it be possible to make it so that the gun moves up and down with the angle of the camera, like it currently does when rotating side to side?

    7-zip is better in terms of performance than WinRAR and the former is free. There's zero reason to use WinRAR
