how come the 1st and 2nd lockdowns don't use the clutch like if i put a car stationary and try to start moving in the 1st lockdown it wont go as well as it would in drive
Dunno. In real life it would typically use a torque converter so wouldn't need a clutch, but BeamNG doesn't have them yet. I think it should still clutch on the locked out gears in BeamNG.
Then try the Hirochi Sunburst DCT. Through what I think is an incorrectly named lua script, the DCT offers Arcade auto, realistic auto without the 1st/2nd locks and manual with auto clutch, rather cool.
I either use arcade automatic or fully manual. Arcade automatic if I want completely casual play, fully manual if I want a bit more.
manual transmission all the way, and if a car has an automatic gearbox its not gonna be driven by me. and if i have to drive one i really dont care, these two metres i drive them its not important.
Realistic auto, but I MUCH prefer full manual when I play with xbox controller or steering wheel I use manual about 90% of the time, I even sometimes convert autos and give them manual counterparts for myself.
