Is it possible to make a mod for Automatic assisted breaking?
I don't mean ABS, which I know is allready in game, but I mean something like preventive breaking to lessen the impact of crashes.

Probably, considering the safety elements already in the modern ETKs and Hirochis. How you would do it, I have no idea.

It must be possible somehow, since ai cars can kind of tell when another car is in front of them and brake accordingly. Maybe a similar thing could be implemented, but as part of the electronic safety systems in modern ETK cars like you mentioned.

I was thinking the K-Series and the SPR4. I still have yet to find out how the AI works, but I'm thinking It's gonna have to do with the Nav mesh.

What if, if the AI detects if there's a set of nodes in front of it, it'll brake?

This would work when a car is in front of the vehicle, but this would not work in all situations. The safety system would need to react to any object on the map that is in front of it, and things on the map are not made of a node/ beam structure like cars.

What about a code that detects collision boxes infront of it?

That's actually a really good idea. You mean using a system to predict when a car will hit something?
    --- Post updated ---
Now that I think about it, It could be a thing with a NavMesh, scanning when a colision mesh has been detected?
