Thank you, I am very curious as to how the dlc type system will work if people are allowed to create their own mods. Take vehicles for example. I understand that Gabester is one of the best so that is one form of inclination to buy the dlc, but i can imagine that other people will also be creating nice mods which may be free for the public.

Also i think that a pay once system would be very nice (provided that there are payment options i have access to) because i wouldn't mind paying a small premium to just have everything.

But since if you have to PAY for it, your parents will have to do the work, so I suggest that you do away with the payable download option, since you would be borrowing money off of your parents' banking account.

Also, it would be neat to have Rigs of Rods-like features in it like:

    1. You can download cars from the BeamNG repository
    2. You can make your own car
    3. You can download cars, trains, boats, planes, etc... from the BeamNG repository
    4. You can change the settings if your FPS drops below 60 FPS or something like that.

That's not really any of BeamNG's concern. The kids should work for their dollar and not have it handed to them. Though, chances are I'd end up borrowing some cash to get a license to play BeamNG if it is a paid game.

When I buy games on steam (wich I rarely do because I pirate most of my games anyway) I ask my dad to go through the checkout process (because I don't own a credit card) and then I give him the money that was spent (wich is usually little anyway). If you want to know, I'm 13.

    wow...

Off topic: I get the feeling that the middle age on this forum is ~13 and that would explain all the stupid and worthless threds/posts about things that has been answered millions of times.

Well it is quite easy enough for ones better judgement to tell the kids from the older folk here. Best thing to do is ignore the repetitive ignorance of the kids, and reserve your thoughts while reading the sensible ones. Otherwise it will end up in some thread long off topic rant. :p

Like this, XD. All they want though is attention, why else would they say they pirate them anyway? I thing we need more moderators just for banning people under that age limit.

I don't really know what there is in this forum or in this game that isn't for people under the age limit, maybe it's because 12 year olds are usually annoying?

It is for legal reasons, if someone was to say offend a 10 year old and they were to commit suicide (extreme example i know) then the forums could be held responisible for not protecting the child. If they say that someone has to be over a certain age in the terms of use it would certainly help their case. Although the counter argument would be that the rule was not enforced well enough which is why these sorts of things have to be dealt with. So they can say that they do enforce said rule. It can also be the case that they are irritating but in my opinion thats not really a valid reason because it does discriminate against the few that are actually generally pleasent. Also i think to allow young members onto your website you have to be able to show that there is the correct level of protection.

Oh good. Finally the other grown ups have turned to the idea of protecting younger players instead of just calling them annoyances. Don't forget, you were young yourself too and probably not the most pleasant of child to everyone you knew so do be kind and have a bit of respect!

Besides, At their age, they will soon be in the age to become the next contributors and updaters to this game and others. I would welcome them in 3 to 5 years making new cars with the next generation of programming and software available when they do. When this game is available and open to players, I hope in time they do open it to builds from players. The way teenagers master programming and 3D software, they will be a great supplier to the next generation of our entertainment when some of us adults are getting through our middle ages.

Now. I agree with the Child protections, Very good to legally cover yourself to make sure they don't have any harassment on the site.

Might I suggest though as a convenience to newcomers wanting to find out about the game that perhaps something be added to the Homepage about how the game is yet to be released working through testing and other legalities, in place of a large black video block which doesn't work when I load the page. A nice "Welcome, and please be patient." might be friendly.

In all honesty I was nowhere near as immature or irritating as many of these 12-14 year olds are when I was 9. Maybe some of them will grow up to be great artists and programmers. Most of them won't.

I hope I'm not as immature. XD But maybe for the people that will just whine or beg or even make a false account that says they are 24 we could make a small/immature/under-16-forum. This sub-forum would have special moderators and a very strict link and bad-word filter so it would comply without needing to cover the whole forum.

You probably don't have ADHD then... But I do agree that most kids are annoying, hence the word immature.

I have ADHD and still somehow manage to act somewhat acceptably. Its hard, but you have to work through it. Its no excuse for being obnoxious and immature. You're supposed to learn to deal with things like that, not encourage it. I don't know what the collective noun is for a gathering of children. A Twat? A twat of children. but uhh, if every individual in that twat of children have ADHD its not an excuse for acting immature as a collective.

I agree. But it is very hard for kids with ADD/ADHD to learn how to be mature.
