Large vehicles such as semis and busses are a completely different thing. There are normally inspected, and I think that's a good thing. Our point here is that it doesn't happen often enough to justify having to take every single car out there to be inspected yearly. And because it is done by private businesses, they are known to fail you so they can sell you a product/service to fix the problem that doesn't really need to be fixed. I'm just not a fan.
Dear everyone not American: I would like to apologize on behalf of the actions of Potato. Not all Americans are braindead like this. Sincerely, SeaDooSnipe
If the school coaches at my school are anything to go by they are definitely not cared for if they even are checked. Only the other day the driver wasn't using the clutch, at all. Every gear change was greeted by the sound of metal grinding. The window above the passenger door is also filled with water between the double glazing. I really want some plastic fish in there, it would be awesome. Then there is the usual stuff, moss growing from the windows patched up bodywork etc. The service is ran by compass royston, im pretty sure that our school is where coaches go to die. I don't blame them either, chances are they will only get wrecked by some douche. OT: Some of my families cars. The westfield kit car is pretty sweet.
Actually there is no requirement for you to have work carried out on that site, you do reserve the right for 2nd opinion elsewhere or having the work carried out elsewhere. If there is an MOT fault they are legally obliged to show it to you, therefore if it is fake, well, learn more about your car then. Plus the test centres get mystery shopped. VOSA and the DVLA will take a car, test it themselves properly, on some of the cars then introduce a deliberate issue and have it registered for an MOT in the centre to be tested without notifying the test centre of it being a test on them (just a normal customer to them, completely unannounced, hell sometimes they even go as far as having the mystery shoppers put on an act of not knowing much about cars, they'll send in a woman to pretend to be a stereotyped clueless school run mum or something). Compare the results that the car *should* have gotten with test centre result, if it doesnt pass then they are in the shit. It costs an hour of your time and about the price of a tank of fuel to ensure you're not a fucking liability.
I wanna know what happened to all of the people in that photo, some have them have been totally decapitated... [jk ofc]
