That's because it... is? Lighter, faster, stiffer, and dressed in a sharp new suit. New 3.9L turbo engine to boot. This car is genesis, people.
And the fact that they have a turbo engine, and until the 488 they never had. They stated that Ferrari will ALWAYS only do n/a engines, that they don't care for turbos. It is like Batman killing someone. ot: (imported from here) I don't care for any of the evo, i always liked the middle class economy sedan side of the lancer more.
I have a friend that just recently bought one of those. This is the same guy that was in 3 accidents and totalled 2 cars before he was even 17. It's a pretty cool car. I'm pretty much waiting for him to wreck it though. Anyway I've always like the look of the 3/4 ton suburbans with those wheels.
The new Superb. (imported from here) (imported from here) Looks like it joins the A4 and Passat in the ranks of elegant/beautiful/sleek (pick any) sedans.
Are you one of those people who whinged when Porsche started doing watercooled engines, or when Ford offered Mustangs with anything other than V8s because "muh tradition"? (even though the first Mustangs were fitted with inline sixes) The world is ever-changing. This is a fact. Governments and regulatory bodies want all new cars to produce fewer harmful emissions. Consumers are demanding more power and better fuel economy. Turbo is a logical step in the evolution of Ferrari as a company. I'll say it again: the 488 GTB is genesis.
I think you're forgetting the fact that their (arguably) most iconic car: (imported from here) Had two turbos.
Ugh there are so many! Here are the ones I can think of: 1970-72 Volkswagen K70 Love the crisp, sharp lines and angles. 1938-67 Volkswagen Beetle In '68 they switched to the newer bumpers. I like those too, but the older ones are my favourite. 1973-76 Volkswagen Passat Really nice proportions and the fastback look is great. 1962-69 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34 I have no words for this. 1979-85 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Station Wagon It's those wheels. Those wheels are amazing. 1957-75 Fiat 500 Possibly the cutest car ever. 1966-69 Subaru Sambar Nope, I stand corrected. That's flippin' adorable And finally, my car. 1990 Volkswagen Fox Hey, I like it.
I think it looks like quite a nice entry-level sedan from what I've seen. Unfortunately they don't sell it in Canada so I haven't seen one in person. From pictures, though, the rear-end is, in my opinion, the nicest looking in the entire current VW lineup and maybe even one of the best looking cheap sedan arses period. EDIT: It's also not a re-badged late-70s Audi, which is probably a plus point for most people, though I like my slow, square blue box with no power steering or passenger door mirror just the way it is We'll gloss over the fact that it's in the shop...
Ah man. Look at that flatnose Peterbilt in the background. Looks like a badass truck. Made back when men were men and trucks were trucks.
This Mustang in particular. Nicely proportioned, conservative styling with colour coded bumpers, gorgeous character lines, tasteful use of chrome trim, smart black plastic accents, and a front end only the 1980s could pull off. Yum. Unsurprising then, that Ford refreshed this look for the Sierra. (also something something mad max xb falcon) (imported from here)
I think this so the first time I've seen someone mention a fox body Mustang and good looking at the same time. I wouldn't exactly say that you'd be wrong either... it's also occurred to me how pretty the Audi 200 is (imported from here) I suppose I like more Audis than just the Ur-Quattro These are also superbly sexy! (imported from here)
I just saw a dark blue Tesla Model S in person (In a pretty crappy neighbourhood which surprised me) & they are gorgeous. (imported from here)
