£2000!? That´s nothing compared to swedish prices! Just searched for a Model T in sweden and it seems like they cost around £13 000-17 000...
This Toyota Celica is the best looking car in my opinion, the front looks cute in a way and it's also a nostalgic car.
Each to his own. OT: The 4th generation Civic is stunning. In fact, it's perfectly designed, both hatch and sedan versions look amazing. Having said that it was hard to find a clean one that hadn't been stanced, even on google images. Sadly I couldn't find any un-molested sedans, so here's a stanced one. Still looks pretty good. Almost looks like the pessima.
Speaking of old Civics... The 3rd gen. Civic also spawned this: I find the first Rover 200 series oddly attractive... despite most of my brain desperately trying to remind me it's actually pretty vile.
Derp. I searched "Honda Civic EF" instead of "4th gen honda civic", I guess the chassis designation attracts ricers. I pass by one of these on the street every day. I always wondered how it hadn't fallen apart, I guess the fact that it's not actually a Rover product would explain that ;p
It was engineered by Honda but British-built, so no, it's actually quite a feat if the latches of the front right door of my R17 820i failing all of a sudden are anything to go by...
I guess then that would explain the other rover I see daily, which has duct tape holding it together, a body covered in rot, and a dashboard looking like a dried lake bed (pic related)
Speaking of Rovers... The R17 Rover 800 Series looked spectacular back in its day. Bought one (used) on looks alone. Caribbean Blue, 2.0T engine... Worst car I've ever owned, but boy it looked great... It was sexy even as a cube...
What's wrong with a bit of stance. Obviosly, ricers with offset AND camber are dumb, but this is quite nice... --- Post updated --- BUGatti veyron. See what I did there? And well done for being a Veyron hater
It looks cool to some, but all I can imagine when I see these pictures is *SCRAAAAAAAPE BUMP CRASH*, followed by a ruptured colon and finally understeering into a tree. Of course that's an exageration but cars that are super low like that really do handle and ride awful. It's like meeting a hot girl and finding out she's empty inside and dumb as a bag of rocks.
That isn't too low. It's when you get to the offset + Camber situation you know you're in trouble. Offset Camber NOT BOTH
As it is with everything, moderation is key. Lower suspension, camber and offset are things that can improve a car's handling if done properly. When you modify the car's suspension and wheels for appearance instead of practicality, the car may look good sitting in a parking lot, and that's fine for most people. But people like me can't help but to think about how it drives, and knowing it has zero ground clearance, super stiff suspension (which means low mechanical grip), stretched tires (which means low tire grip), excessive camber (which lowers the contact patch of the tire with the ground and increases wear), spacers to give more offset to compensate for the camber (which put plenty of stress on the bearings causing them to fail sooner) I can tell these cars are no good for actual driving, which in my opinion ruins the entire car's aesthetic.
