Problems with Geforce Experience

    Look, I love this game right, but please optimize it for a gtx970m. THE NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THIS AS A GAME. BUT my main problem is the the game is been acting really weird, and the thing that pisses me is the fact that when i close the game (because it won't load), it says it's still running on steam, and it been a good 15 mins and it still say that it's running. This has been going on for a while now, but please do something about it so i can play the GODDAMN game

    Try clearing cache, and if that does not work try a clean re install.

    I know I am sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong here, but calm down and fix your caps lock key...

    I don’t know anything about software and can’t really help, but the people who can are gonna need more details. System specs, description of what is going on (ex: what are you trying to open when it won’t load? Does gridmap open? Have you already gone through the basic troubleshooting steps?)

    Why would you want to use geforce experience? It recognizes 16 out of my 30+ installed games. Also if it says it's still running, check task manager and kill the program.

    I use that on daily basis and it works fine.
    But from my experience, newer updates of that programs tend to cause more problems, also in many other games (in fact I reverted using one of the older versions and avoid to update it: 3.7.0.81)
    Anyhow, that program would not prevent your game from running (it's just the overlay for shadowplay), it's not essential part for any game to work.

    Check your antivirus and everything that even barely resemble one. It could be keeping the game process alive for no reason.

    recording isn't the issue here
    that's not the issue either
    the game wasn't starting at all, reinstalled it and now its working mostly fine, altho it still likes to get stuck at random for 5 mins or more (i can live with that)

    been doing that for a long time when the game crashes, but sometimes the game crashes in such a way that i can't even open any other screen, the game always stays on top, so i just have to alt f4 and wait a min or 2
