Posted Here [Mulholland Drive AC-to-BeamNG Conversion] - ~ On Topic ~ I am working hard with a big addition to Projekt Drive which when finished will make moving forward a fair bit easier for me.
Posted Here [Mulholland Drive AC-to-BeamNG Conversion] Ver. 0.92b of Mulholland Drive released, this brings in an overhaul to lighting and an in-depth one over of the collisions in the map. File size was reduced to 478Mb, if possible I might jam this into the Repo later on when we have more supported features. Now I can officially say this is where I want it to be for now. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PROJEKT DRIVE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I will be putting in more work with that later this week, notably starting Wednesday morning I'll be digging back into it. I've had a very busy weekend, this might not look like much but this is the content I am currently willing to reveal. Maybe you can wrack your brain on what exactly it is that I'm planning currently.
**All files are backed up to a cloud as of moments ago.** Unfortunately I'll be down for a couple days. Main SSD failure. My operating system is compromised. All files are fucked, Projekt Drive was built on this SSD, gladly I had backups and I was able to make an extra one with all newest files in the final minutes of it before complete failure. It is now very difficult to operate and getting anything further is proving quite challenging but all my most important tools, settings and junk like that have all been recovered. Pretty sure in the case of my SSD actually stands for SadStateDrive
Apologies for slow updates. I'm trying to cram so much into a week and nothing has gotten done. My computer failure was obviously to blame for the lack of any progress following the release of Mulholland Drive.
I would like to confirm that I am still working on this project, I just have a lot going on atm. The thing I'm working on is big and I don't wish to reveal it until there is more functionality with it. It is not going to set me back on feature creep either as it will make further things actually easier when it's implemented, not harder.
I love the idea of a RWD Sunburst! The Sunburst is my favorite model in Beamng. Good luck! Love it so far.
Remodelled entire dashplate for Early Pessima gauge cluster. Resized overall cluster. --- Post updated --- ~ Still working on a massive feature that is nearing completion.

Far, far later a muscle car oriented version will be produced with White/Black faces and a different Backlighting system. This is a work in progress image, but stuff is looking particularly good... took this long to get all of this setup done so I can support 7 unique gauges in my system at once, kind of overkill but that should mean no matter how far I go with this I won't run out of support in the system. Also the Amber example in the last image has a busted boost gauge because the car is N/A and that's what it displays in that example. Overview Gauge Types Gauge Colours Needle Colours (Global Setting, Secondary Needles are unique and can be set too)
Fixed up some gauge textures. Made an I3 for the Covet with SOHC and DOHC variants. Am working on Layout settings for gauges on the Early Pessima. It'll take some time to get things on other vehicles but I am also working on the FWD Covet currently at the same time. Planning to work on the Covet MR following that. I really just need to slap together two Inline 4s for the FWD Covet, make some configs and it'll be great, then conceptualize what engines I wanna work with on the Covet MR.
I made some Inline 4 stuff that's incomplete as of yet. Need to finish it and make a 2nd one. Progress was slow last three days because I've been busy with appointments and this morning I had to do much needed work with my online systems.
Current Covet FWD Engines [Likely Final Selection] 1.1L Inline 3 - SOHC + DOHC | Injection| 2 Factory Cams + 2 Aftermarket Cams 1.5L Inline 4 - SOHC + Kamtec SOHC | Early/Late Carburettor Options + Injection [Kamtec Injection Only] 1.8L Inline 4 - SOHC | Singe/Duel/Triple Barrel Carbs + Injection | 2 Factory Cams + 2 Aftermarket Cams
I had a very busy past few days but this morning I managed to make Legran ---------------------------------Completed--------------------------------- Inline 5 2.4L Factory Cam Factory Turbo Cam Performance Cam Racing Cam Aftermarket Stroke Kit for 2.5L spec Factory Turbo Spec ~ 262 PS N/A Spec ~ 170 PS ---------------------------------Planned--------------------------------- 2.3L Turbo + Semi VVT Head Option & 2L W/ 2 and 4 Valve heads also coming. 2.3L is only going to be intended for Turbo specs 2.0L is N/A only as planned yet. 2.0L and 2.3L will be able to be stroked all the way up to 2.4L spec 2.4L can be stroked up to above 2.5L spec ---------------------------------Notes--------------------------------- --- Post updated --- Since it'll be easy for me to do I plan to knock out the engines for the Legran real quick then return to another car that needs work. Covet MR perhaps. Legran might get custom gauges, because for the life of me they are one of the ugliest clusters in-game for me (sport cluster) But I might do that later, idk. I also feel I might be able to bang that out in 1-2 days if I sat down and dedicated myself to it, no promises yet. Things still needed. Modular gauges need tweaks with placement in Gen1 Pessima and general textures (PBR In-Progress) Gen2 Pessima needs a massive cleanup since the last update butchered it. 200BX needs Modular gauges and custom unibody to patch the vanilla tacho bug (seriously!?) Gen2 Pessima Needs Modular gauges Sunburst needs 2 engines, reworking since the update and a little TLC, I won't be able to give that car as much love as others do, but hopefully I can make it feel better to drive for people who'd of preferred it come with a low centre of gravity provided by a Boxer engine. Covet MR needs engines, suspension, steering.. the whole 9 yards. ETK 800/K-Series are getting skipped and planned for later release.. I really need to get what I can get out for now and figure out those cars for another release. It has been 8 months since I began this mod and I cannot live with myself not getting something out after all this incredible waiting people are enduring for my mod.
So I might've done a thing. Full PBR, emissive and all, full custom indicators and accessory lights.. everything is PBR and it's all looking really nice. This is on the Legran.
Just did some adjustments to the accessory textures. It's made a little weird so it has a hint of Legran in there. I am very proud of this asset.
