Re: Q&A I agree, the vans fad is pretty damn stupid, I have never had a pair of vans, nor do I skate. Actually I enjoy it, but I'm too cheap to buy a board lol. What irritates me the most is when people who don't skate, and aren't even the right type of person, wear vans, just to try and be cool. That irritates me. I've always worn nike tennis shoes. Free runs and alike. I don't wear those retarded high socks that go up your knees, though. Those are so stupid. - - - Updated - - - Sounds right to me. I don't see what the problem is?
Re: Q&A Tell me about it. I've been wearing vans for 12 years now. I haven't skated recently much because none of my friends skate, but I still like skate shoes because they're what I've grown up wearing. When people wear vans to fit in, it pisses me off. If you don't know how to skate, why bother trying to pull off a 'skater' look. It's stupid.
A mirror is simply a highly reflective surface. Eyes are also real, we don't see matter but the light reflected on it. That's just idiotic. Next question
I've often wondered why everyone that works in mcdonalds and places like that always have black shoes on. Why is it required?
Those black shoes that are commonly seen in a corporate food service environment are typically a requirement of the uniform, simply because they are low-key and non attention gtabbing, maintain a relatively clean appearance (versus white or colored shoes), and generally speaking, the black sneaker/shoes have a "non-slip" sole so as to prevent slips, falls, and lawsuits caused by the copious amounts of grease that splatter out from the fryers and grill tops. Hope that answers your question.
