Question about BeamNG in-game

    Why does sometimes parts of cars like hoods, bumpers, mirrors, etc, go through other N/B things like cars? An example is in the video "BeamNG progress update! New cars, intervehicle collision, breaking glass, and more!" when two D15s crash into each other, both hoods go through each other. Why does this happen and is there any way to fix it?

    That video is very old and had an early version of the self-collision code which was disabled in some parts of the video. That rarely ever happens anymore.
