OO if i can get my head around content creation this will be my first project and gab how many buildings can this engine handle because im 3d modeling buildings to make a city type map
That's more of a Torque3D question than a BeamNG question - probably a lot, as long as the collision meshes are reasonably simple/optimized. I think it can support several million collision triangles.
will vehicle creation get easier because i can 3d model but i can get my head round the nodes and beams part of it
I tried making a simple car crusher, just two surfaces and some slow hydros. It works well first, up to a level of deformation you see in normal crashes. When you compress the car further, you get weird effects like stretching polygons, nodes (or the whole car) popping through the surfaces, and often the physics crash.
