Thanks for this release. I can't wait to try everything out. P.S. Nice work, everyone who participated in the development of this pack.
There's never enough mods. - - - Updated - - - Umm... Help? This happens on both maps. And I cant do anything.
IIRC thats exactly it, we dont know for sure..just that AMD cars were having problems with certain maps. I know mine arent showing either (AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series).
It's kinda weird how you expect me/us to fix something you modded... It says exactly what caused it :/ "Invalid input at line 1" "Last line was: "*weird symbol* {" You clearly put an invalid symbol somewhere... It says exactly that, and at which line(It's can also be the one above/below line 1)... All these cars are made to be driven with manual, and manual only. When I tried the Capri before we released it, it wouldn't even move in automatic, which is how it should be(trying to drive a 600hp 900kg car with an auto trans is just silly imho)... That's also why we didn't put any/much time into tuning the shift-up and shift-down rpm's for the cars... :/ When you play sim games like this you should really invest in a controller, completely recommend the wired Xbox 360 controller for windows, works really well with BeamNG imho...
Today was the first time I could be bothered racing all the way up pikes peak, here is my feedback. First off, amazing track, I really like the top sandy bit, I can really open up the taps of the Capri and see what it has. I also like the start, its nice to have fast speeds with scenery, however the middle bit is annoying, all the twist and turns, especially with the Capri on keyboard. I thank you guys for the effort that went into this pack, it is of amazing quality and has provided heaps of fun. P.S. the rest of the cars and maps are awesome too, i just focused on the capri and the pikes peak map. Thanks, destroyer8769
No i checked and only thing i edited was the value... IDK why it still doesnt work. I meant, i dont want an automatic transmission version, but the original manual with a bit higher revving at shifting, because i dont use the "Q" manual mode. I have an lower-end logitech wheel, but it wouldnt work well for me because in 90 % cases i drive with camera out of car. And those PS/Xbox controlers doesnt fit me, so i dont plan to buy one because of only one game. I will try to edit it again, but probably it will again give me error.. Ok i edited it now, here are pictures of both original and edited transmission so you believe me i didnt screw up anything... Still the same error....
Oh forget my problem.. Now i found out that the value is present only for automatic transmission, so i have to edit in engine shift up and shift down values. Sorry i didnt notice it. But now i tried it again, but it didnt work... So i will probably use "X" and "Z" to shift.
Hmm ok so I had already done that and mine looks exactly like yours. I looked through the Corkscrew Mountain thread but there really wasn't anything. At what point should the timer show up?
I mean, the transmission is manual, but im using auto shifting, i just wanna change the moment when it shifts up and down thats all..
Excellent work. Thank you very much for you hard work. Pike's Peak is a blast. The only issues I'm experiencing are some road texture flickering and a couple of rocks are see-through (after you rise above the treeline). Now we just need somebody to make a timer for a hill climb!
