It's not working for me.. I installed it and when I try to select it in game the truck spawns in with invisible wheels and no Stig.. what do I do?
Just like Top Gear... He never talks - - - Updated - - - Make sure your running experimental version.
This was The Stig until the truck was crushed. Great mod B25Mitch, will you be able put him in the Covet soon?
Yes!! Finally!! The most requested feature/mod for this game is finally here!! Now to get it to work in all of the vehicles.
really awesome, just what I wanted. You can now officially do propper crash testing in Beamng Drive. The only problem I see is that the seatbelt can only be seen in the experimental parts config menu, which doesn't work. Or is it invisible? If it is, then it would be good if you could see it. Maybe in future versions you could not only include a normal seatbelt, you could include a racing harness, if that wouldn't have the same effect as the normal seatbelt. It would be good for extra testing and keeping the stig in one piece while, for example, racing. Also, it would be great to have the stig readily avaliable to set lap times in all of the stock cars, since you've made his Jbeam already. Sorry If it sounds like I'm trying to give you extreme amounts of work for you. apart from those small things, I'm lovin' it. (Insert Maccas mini jingle here).
Nope you are correct, only way to see the seatbelt is via the WIP part selector which does not work at the moment Sent from the 3rd galaxy via the talks of tapping
Some say... ...he owns a slightly rusty Gavril D15, and that if he were to ever become a BeamNG dev, his first course of action would be to skin a picture of his own face to his in-game face. This is truly amazing. Mind if I find a way to shove him in some other cars?
is there a possible way to code it so that it no collides with specific objects like the door, im just curious of why it collides on the sides when the doors are open, or if you dont put the window in
Ye... so i might have lost control after panic'ing having The Stig on my tail! Scary as feck but funny as hell as AI
Because the body shell has collision triangles over the openings to help reduce the chance of clipping or getting stuck during collisions. If you find and comment out the offending triangles the stig can be let free, but collisions in the door and window areas may get weird.
I can confirm that this mod works on stable and experimental versions. I've tried both, although the experimental works slightly better with this mod.
I put the stig on a pickup on top of a crane on industrial dropped a barrel filled with oil more or less 50m , it landed on the middle of the roof of the D15, he survived . Thanks Gavril for making advanced security technologies
