It looks great! I think I'm gonna use this road now. --- Post updated --- I modified the texture slightly in the material editor so it gets affected by light, and it looks much better now!
UPDATE #4: Completed the first section of the map, which adds some homes, a large farm, a dirt road, and a new highway texture thanks to @AIM.
Looks like the asphalt texture is a bit too bright. Maybe darkening it a bit would make it look better, but it's up to you.
Yeah, for some reason it shows up in game much brighter than in paint.net, so that's why I turned on the emmisive function and it made it normal. But, it is up to @Gariffinator at this point. I think personally, it looks good either way.
I prefer to have emmisive off, because it looks more like the other roads around it. Also the asphalt_lanes_clear texture is much less noticeable. Emmisive off: Emmisive on:
Also to make it 100% seamless to not see those marks you could open up my road texture then clip a section of it out and you will never see the difference!
UPDATE #6: Map is about 1/3 complete. I Completed the 2nd section of the map, which adds a few farms, lakes, and houses. (I also accidentally took the screenshots in windowed mode, so they're slightly lower res)
UPDATE #7: Starting to work on the 3rd section of the map now, which adds a store, more houses, and farms.
Asphalt lines are completely wrong. The dotted lines on each side should be white, not yellow. Yellow is only used for oncoming lanes.
