Some countries got the Tiburon, some got the Coupe. Tuscani was the top trim worldwide, and had Tuscani badging.
We didn't get the Tuscani. Someone must have told them how stupid it sounds before they could launch it.
I know it was in Korea, in the US, in Germany and in some other countries. Maybe they renamed it in Italy because a faux-Italian marketing spiel would have been laughed at.
I also did see the regular Tiburons. Even my dad (although not much an car guy) noticed it was an Tiburon and found it somewhat strange. I do remember yesterday seeing an 2017+ MDX, been a while since I seen one, and also saw 2 damn ugly 2018 Terrains while in Bristol.
Definitely. Not only Hyundais are the least italianate thing I can think of... Tuscany is frequently associated to rustic, kinda rough things.
This thread is a little off-topic right now. People talking about Hyundais. OT: I swear a few months ago I saw a P1 or some McLaren or some supercar on the highway, don't know what it was because it was on the other side of the road... I did see a GTC4 Lusso legit though (or I think)
GM EV1. There are now only around 10 of these left in the world, after GM crushed the rest. It's on display at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, California.
There's one more in California. Fen found it on Google Maps. https://www.google.com/maps/@37.915...4!1sPU5obFJlWeQ1F5roak1wIw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
I've already posted quite a few but heres some more I've seen About 5 or so AE86's in my lifetime (and i'm talking actual hatchbacks) Genuine GTHO Pase 3 Falcon (seen a few of these) Toyota Chaser (rare here) A9X Toranas XU-1 Toranas E Type Jags Geniune Lotus powered Ford Escort RS1600 Coupe Lotus Cortina FC RX-7 Rolls Royce Phantom or something from 2015 Datsun 120Y (ironically this was my mums first car ha ha) R32 Skyline GTR (Aussie delivered ones are really rare and can fetch AUD120,000!). Jensen Interceptor HSV GTSR W1 (mad when you see one in person) S14 Silvia (quite rare here) Honda NSX Dihatsu Applause (nan owned one when I was little was a total piece of shit) I think I MAY of seen an Enzo when I was younger (when I was 11 or so in 2011). Not sure what this car was but I think it was an Enzo. --- Post updated --- My Dad owns an Odyssey ha ha (but they are common here in Oz) Nice car as well 2016 Model.
300ZX Only have seen 2 Also a Euro Type R, unless it had a Euro rear end on a USDM Civic, But I'm pretty sure it didn't. i saw only the back end of it. Might have been a fake or an Illegal import, which is totally possible (I live in America, BTW)
Chances are, whoever drove that Civic just simply got the trunk and taillights off of a Type R off Ebay or whatever aftermarket manufacturer has them. I've seen several of these before, some without the Type R spoilers, or some with whatever else. OT: There's a early to mid 70's Jensen Interceptor lurking around the garages nearby where I live, spotted the nose peaking out from behind one garage today, but I couldn't turn around to grab a pic.
My mums boyfriend lives in a small street. If you go out a few streets and onto a long straight hilly street called Ware drive, there are mad cars.... Everwhere. One house has an EH Holden and a Humber or something. Across the road there is a beach buggy in the front yard(!) Two houses from there are a Mini Cooper S and an XY GT Falcon with the original and rare hubcaps in the same garage. Six or so houses down are a 67 GTO and Corvette Stingray in a garage. And from there is an R33. Next door to that is a Supra, S13 and a Celica in long grass and sometimes an S14 And if you go up another street, there is a HQ Monaro Coupe in dark plum purple with drag wheels sometimes. Coolest street. Ever. Period. Oh and my mums boyfriend owns a 1964 XM Falcon Deluxe wagon in light blue. Its all original and even has the original manual and RACQ window sticker!!!!
Hard to believe, yet i somehow do. Mostly because that is absolutely the best street in the world for a car enthusiast, like myself. give yourself a pat on the back, because I am now incredibly jealous of that street you live so close to. Anyway, do you think they all help each other on theirs projects or something? That would explain them being all congregated in one street. Cool though.
Not too sure if they help out each other. I've chatted to the guy who owns the GTO he is in his 50's or 60's and he is currently trying to restore the Vette. Its pretty legit and sometimes I find it hard to believe but I've gone on numerous walks and stuff and see them lurking out of the garage all of the time.
