Map: East Coast USA Reworked by DJModem (In RP it is Firwood, in Firwood County, New Hampshire)
    Description:
Donovan had been working at Zebra Tours for a while now. He knew the rules. He was giving a tour of Maine when he was intoxicated above the legal limit. He was driving erratic, and passengers called 911. Meanwhile, Johnny had had some engine trouble in his new sunburst and pulled into Tilson Road, where he would stop and forget to put his hazards on.
Donovan would then go on Tilson going 80 MPH, of which the speed limit was 50 at the time. He smashed a quarter of the sunburst's roof in, damaging the trunk, roof, and doors, and would deflate all tires due to severely low tire pressure, another reason why Johnny stopped, and luckily got out a few seconds before Donovan smashes his roof in. Donovan drove a Gavril Roamer.
Parts of Car Critically Damaged of Sunburst
Roof, trunk, RR and FR window glasses and doors, all wheels, and rims
Parts of Car Critically Damaged of Gavril Roamer
Hood, FL fender, engine, radiator, front bumper, front bumper support, windshield, grille, rear bumper, tailgate, all FL windows, both front wheels, license plate, license plate bracket, frame, and chassis. Both cars were totaled.
Firwood County Sheriff and NHSP were quick to respond. (NOT SHOWN IN PICTURES DUE TO ME BEING DUMB)
    Injuries:

    Sunburst driver:
None except bleeding hands due to touching sharp objects
    Roamer driver:
Severe whiplash, broken foot, nose, and broken wrist, along with severe head trauma and glass wounds in the eyes and mouth
5 broken adult teeth (of course) and busted gums
Donovan later flatlined in an ICU in Dover Hospital. He was declared dead on 6/14/22 at 7:34 PM EST and was taken to the morgue where he is buried at the Dover Catholic Church
A lawsuit was filed against Zebra Tours for neglecting issues, and a settlement was made for 55,100 USD

    NEVER DRIVE WHILE DRUNK!
To stay out of the slammer, don't get hammered.

Failure to maintain speed/clearance, Gavril CB40 Coach Bus fatal collision with an Ibishu Hopper, So Cal-Nevada Area, USA, August 25, 2021:
    Highway Accident Report

    (Overview of the accident site)
    • Location: So Cal Nevada Interstate, USA
    • Directions: Highway Lanes
    • Date & Time: 08/25/2021, 0500 EST
    • Number of Lanes in the Direction: 2
    • Vehicle(s): Gavril CB40 bus / Ibishu Hopper
    • Road Characteristics: Straight
    • Owner/Operator: Charter Company / Private
    • Weather: Clear
    • Vehicle Damage: Substantial / Destroyed
    • Light: Day
    • Defining Event: Failure to maintain speed/clearance
    • Injuries: 3 (Fatal), 4 (Minor), 6 (None)
    • Type: Charter / Personal

    Factual Information:

On August 25, 2021, at about 0500 eastern standard daytime, a Gavril CB40 coach bus, on a chartered trip from Nevada to California, was traveling westbound in the southern Cal-Nev interstate when it approached an area of slowing traffic (the entrance of a mountain tunnel). Witnesses reported that traffic slowed down because of an accident in the tunnel, the bus was unable to stop and veered left where it collided with an Ibishu Hopper 4x4 vehicle going from the westbound to eastbound lane. The Hopper became wedged in the front of the bus, and both vehicles continued straight ahead into a hill located between both lanes and next to the tunnel entrance where they came to rest. There was no post crash. The certified driver and two passengers onboard the Hopper sustained fatal injuries, and their vehicle was destroyed. The bus sustained substantial damage, the driver and two passengers sustained minor injuries, and the remaining six passengers were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident.

According to relatives of the Hopper driver and passengers, they were enjoying a dayout, driving around highways and exploring the area. According to a family member of the front seated passenger, she received a message from him at about 0559 EST, he reported that an accident happened and closed the tunnel, and added they will most likely turn around. There were no further messages from any of the occupants.

According to the bus driver, he was traveling westbound and below the speed limit, he reported that he noticed a sudden stop in traffic and veered left. He did recall any further events.

Review of a dashcam video recording from one of the vehicles on the same road showed that the traffic gradually slowed down over a time span of 10 seconds and became to a fullstop afterwards, the bus was observed in the footage at around the 1-2 seconds into the traffic slowing down. In the next ~6 seconds, no slowing down/braking was observed from the bus, at about 9 seconds, the bus was observed veering left and striking the Hopper in the middle section ("T-boned").

On scene examination of the accident site revealed there were no braking marks in the path of the bus up to the point of collision. An on scene examination of the vehicles revealed that there were no anomalies consistent with a preimpact failure or malfunctions. The vehicles were transported to a secure facility for further examination. Which further revealed no failures with both.

    - Damage:

    (View of the accident site)

Both vehicles came to rest upright and there were was no post crash. The primary physical damage to the bus was mainly observed in the front section, the bumper was damaged and crushed from the right side, the battery box located in the front left section was destroyed, the front door sustained substantial damage, and physical damage was noted in the front body. The engine compartment remained undamaged, but the engine hood was impact damaged, both front headlights remained functional. No damage was noted inside the bus (seat displacements... etc).

All major mechanical systems were examined, including the steering, suspension, and braking systems, no anomalies were not during the postaccident inspections.

The Hopper came to rest and was wedged under the front section of the bus. The main body was impact damaged and separated from the frame and located to the right of the bus, the frame itself was found impact crushed under the front left tire of the bus. The mechanism of physical damage to the Hopper did not occur from the initial impact. On scene examination noted that, after both vehicles collided, the Hopper was mainly intact but was still infront of the bus, due to the bus's speed, both vehicles continued straight ahead into the little hill, the body separated from the frame when the bus impacted the hill, both vehicles got airborne and came to rest on top of the hill.

(View of Hopper after wreckage recovery)

Further testing revealed that despite the fact that the body did not separate on the initial impact, the impact was deadly and the Hopper occupants died from it on the spot.

    Injuries:
The Hopper driver, front seat passenger, and back seat passenger were fatally injured. The driver of the bus and two passengers sustained minor injuries, and the remaining six passengers were not injured. Autopsy reports from the California Office of Chief Medical Examiner state that the deaths were caused by blunt force trauma to the internal organs, extremities, and head.

    Medical History and Toxicology:
Toxicology testing performed on the driver of the Hopper at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory was negative for carbon monoxide, ethanol, and drugs. The accident driver checked “no” on his medical certificate form for all listed conditions, including “sleep disorders, pauses in breathing while asleep, daytime sleepiness, loud snoring.”

On scene field sobriety test on the bus revealed that he was not drunk. The driver checked “no” on his medical certificate form for all listed conditions.

    Further Research:
The dashcam footage discussed earlier was further studied, it was determined that the bus was traveling under the speed limit.

Passengers from the bus reported that the driver was not using his phone before the crash, they also reported that he was "awake" and did not look tired during the trip up to the accident.

    Investigative Synopsis:
The accident occurred when the coach bus departed from the travel lanes to the left. No tire marks were observed on the travel lanes indicating there was no braking. The driver was unable to stop the vehicle, and it struck a vehicle straight ahead. Postaccident examination revealed that there were no anomalies consistent with a preimpact failure or malfunctions. The bus passengers reported that the driver did not apply the brakes, but he was not busy with his phone/fatigued.

It is most likely that the driver was not paying enough attention to the slowing traffic ahead of him, and he failed to apply the brakes and instead guided the bus to the left in order to avoid traffic ahead, but struck a car turning instead.

    - Probable Cause:
    • The bus driver's inattention, his failure to stop the vehicle in a timely manner, and failure to avoid the vehicle infront of him while guiding the vehicle off the road.

It spun around and the Hirochi came to a halt. A witness at the dealership called the police shortly after the collision and it only took a matter of time before help arrived.

Damage: Major frontal-damage, crooked right half-axle, bent front-right door and bent top-right corner of the roof. It was totaled and crushed in May of 2017. The Roamer was a write-off as it has a damaged front-right door, multiple frontal fascia parts damaged and pulled off, dented hood and a torn-off left front tire. The left axle was disintegrated.

Location: Connack Ave and Barden Lovard St, Belasco City, California.

Vehicles: 2012 Hirochi Sunburst 2.0 Sport S AWD, 2005 Gavril Roamer LXT Facelift

    Injuries:
The Sunburst driver was in critical condition, where shortly after the crash he succumbed to his injuries. He had a broken right arm and a broken left hand, multiple severe bruises and scratches all over his body, a broken left leg and his right leg was severed off likely due to the brute force of the impact. Cause of death: Loss of blood. Khris suffered from a concussion, broken right leg, heavy whiplash, broken right arm and left arm, multiple scratches and bruises and two of his fingers of his left hand were cut off. Though they were able to save him.

    Aftermath:
Khris recovered a year after the accident, a funeral was held for the young man and both of the families did not bother sueing or filling a lawsuit. Instead they decided to get along with each other. After that Khris never wanted to drive again, and relied on public-transport or he was brought by either his friends or family.

Only a minor dent and a scratch mark on the rear bumper. The runner's Mistral was written-off, it had an already missing bumper, major frontal damage on the right and a bent right-wheel. It still remains in a scrapyard

    "Road Revenge"

Case: Hit and Run leads to Vehicular Homicide. September 12, 2005.

    Description:
As Marcus Redwood, a 17 year old High School Student was sitting in his Father's Roamer, a Bruckell Legran swerved into the Nodeline Gas Station as his Father, Matthew Redwood, a 43 year old Doctor, was walking out of the store and to his SUV with a pack of cigerattes and some candy, and was struck by the Legran at full speed. As a group of people quickly ran over to Matthew, the Legran's driver, a 26 year old construction worker named James Smith, began to speed away. Marcus then climbed into the driver's seat of his Father's running SUV and began to gave chase, repeatedly ramming into James' Legran until it spun into a tree at 45mph. Marcus then lined the front of his Father's damaged SUV up with the passenger side of the Legran, reversed as far as he could, and continuously rammed into the Legran until the engine of his Roamer threw a rod and ceased up.

Injuries: Marcus had minimal injuries and many cuts and bruises. James was crushed into a pulp by Matthew's SUV. Matthew was in critical condition for 42 hours before becoming stable, and now currently has to use a walker in order to get around.

Vehicles involved: 2002 Gavril Roamer 4WD Base, 1985 Bruckell Legran SE

    Location: East Coast, USA.

Aftermath: After being pulled from his wrecked SUV and thrown into the back of a Police Cruiser, it was revealed that Marcus was suffering from Psychosis, and had been taking antipsychotics for a couple of years, along with receiving weekly therapy sessions after being involved in a serious car accident while on a field trip. After being put on Trial, Marcus' lawyer used his declined mental state as leverage to get him a "not guilty by reasons of insanity" verdict, allowing Marcus to be brought to a mental institute as appose to a maximum security prison. Marcus now spends his days in a Maryland Hospital Center, receiving daily therapy sessions and medication, fully regretting his actions, and even caught trying to take his life on multiple occasions as "repentance" as he put it. Matthew visits his son as often as he can, and even moved as close to the Hospital Center Marcus resides in in order to visit him more often. Funeral services were held for James after the investigation was closed, with James' friends and family members being very upset over the court ruling, viewing it as an injustice towards their son's/friend's death.
