    Case: rear-end collision, September 19th 2009.

Description: Being (in their view) cut off by a woman in an SUV sent a furious young driver in a Grand Marshal looking for blood. The Roamer had pulled into their lane on the freeway to make an overtake, however the young driver had been way over the signposted speed limit at the time, making the situation much more dangerous. Once the Roamer was back in the slow lane, the Grand Marshal floored it past and cut in front, going for a brake-check. The sedan's brakes, though, were not as good as he expected, and he slammed into the bus in front. The bus driver, in a panic, swerved across the road, and in trying to avoid a secondary impact the Grand Marshal went the other way, smashing up the side of the Roamer. The Grand Marshal did not stop despite the carnage.

Injuries: The Roamer driver was scarred by the broken windscreen, but was able to walk away. Two bus passengers also had minor injuries.

    Location: Utah.

Vehicles involved: 1992 Gavril Grand Marshal, 1997 Gavril Roamer, 1995 Wentward DT40.

Aftermath: The Grand Marshal was found hours later, a camera onboard the bus having captured its registration. It transpired that its 17-year-old driver had no licence and thus no insurance, and he claimed that meant there was no point stopping as he had no details to exchange. He was arrested and found guilty of dangerous driving, serving a two-year prison sentence. The Roamer was repairable, but the job was expensive, and its owner had to get a second job for a few weeks to cover those costs. There was virtually no damage to the bus, so it was put back into service the very next morning.

Case: Hit and run. August 4th, 2009.

Description: Aylene Elder was driving to her home in the hills of New Zealand. Behind her, Darrell and Shana Cropper were heading to their parent's house to celebrate a birthday. In front of Aylene was a pick-up truck that was driving erratically, swerving over the lines and unable to maintain it's lane. Suddenly, the truck braked near a gas station as if it was going to turn. Aylene was unable to stop in time and rear ended the truck. Due to the slanted hood of Aylene's 200BX, it slid under the truck, sending it into the air. Darrell and Shana were also unable to stop in time and rear-ended Aylene. The three cars pulled over to the side, but only 2 stayed until police came. The pick-up truck pulled into the gas station, did a u-turn, and took off. Security cams caught the truck running, but were unable to make out the plates.

Injuries: Aylene had a severe concussion/neck injuries due the the two impacts while Darrel and Shana had minor injuries to the chest.

Location: Automation Test Track (New Zealand)

    Vehicles involved: 2000 Gavril D Series, 1990 Ibishu 200BX, and a 1996 Ibishu Pessima.

Aftermath: Darrel, Shana, and Aylene were compensated by their insurance. Police looked into the incident and began searching for the pick-up truck.

    Case: side-on impact, May 28th 2017.

Description: Lori, 32, pulled over at a bus stop where her passenger, a friend, had asked to be dropped off. The two continued their conversation as Lori pulled away in her new Gavril Vertex, meaning Lori was not watching the road. A 17-year-old in a pickup truck happened to be on that road, way over the signposted speed limit and sending a text to his girlfriend, whom he was on his way to meeting up with. The result was the truck slamming into Lori's car side-on at over 45mph, catapulting it 90 degrees across the road and nearly into an oncoming car. With Lori unconscious, the automatic Vertex rolled a little way down the road, coming to a stop in a bush.

Injuries: Lori was seriously injured, and ended up paralysed. The 17-year-old was fine.

    Location: Highway, East Coast.

Vehicles involved: 2003 Gavril D15, 2017 Gavril Vertex.

Aftermath: Lori's family sued the pickup driver for medical bills plus emotional damage, the cost of court proceedings, and the value of the car- a total of over $150,000. When dashcam footage was submitted by the driver of an Ibishu which was also nearly involved, the pickup driver was found guilty of dangerous driving, but still won the case because the footage clearly showed Lori looking the opposite way before pulling out onto the road. Lori's recovery took several months, but her injuries were life-changing and she needed her next car to be specially adapted to her reduced mobility.

Case: Yield sign ignorer causes two rear-end collisions, June 15th, 2020

    Description:
Benjamin, 24, was driving his Cherrier Vivace Emousse to see his parents when he didn't see a yield sign and rear-ended a Covet driven by Maria, 18, who had the right of way. Francesco, a wealthy businessman, 52, was driving his Civetta Bolide right behind Maria and ended up rear-ending Benjamin in the Vivace after he rear-ended Maria.

    Injuries:
Maria had some neck injuries, Benjamin got a broken ankle, and Francesco was fine.

    Location:
    Fastello, Italy

    Vehicles Involved:
2020 Cherrier Vivace Emousse 160, 1989 Ibishu Covet DX, 1988 Civetta Bolide 350 GT

    Aftermath:
Maria, who was poor, didn't have enough money to get a real lawyer so Francesco gave her some money to get one of the best lawyers in Fastello. Maria and Francesco won over Benjamin who was found at fault and was charged with vehicle damages which added up to $50k and had to pay both Maria and Francesco $10k each as they sued him for putting their lives at risk. Both the Vivace and the Bolide were repaired but the Covet was totaled and Maria ended up getting a 1990 Ibishu Pessima ZX AWS for $5000 which she got from suing Benjamin.

Case: Out of control vehicle. August 5th, 2009.

    Description:
Eti Pikari was driving to his workplace at a local airstrip when ahead of him, a pick-up truck with a utility rack lost control and flew off the roadway. He watched in shock as the truck struck a tree and erupted into flames. Eti called emergency services which were on scene within minutes. When police and firefighters search the vehicle, no one was inside. The only evidence that someone was driving was several credit cards and half a receipt for a travel ticket.

    Injuries:
Drops of blood were seen leading away from the wreck, but they ended a few meters away.

    Location:
A kilometer away from the Automation Test Track (New Zealand).

    Vehicles Involved:
    A 2000 Gavril D Series

    Aftermath:
Police searched all over the area, but were unable to find the driver. Eti stated that he never saw anyone get out of the vehicle, and heavily doubts that anyone could survive an accident like that. After further investigation, they traced the vehicle back to an earlier accident that happened the day before.

Case: rear-end impact with stationary vehicles, August 1st 2020.

Description: a truck driver, to reach his destination, had to navigate some very tight roads which were notorious for bad parking. On the inside of the bend was a brand-new but already worn-in Cherrier Tograc, owned by an elderly lady who was just going to one of the shops on that road. The trucker did not see this vehicle and ended up scraping down its side, but by the time he realised this he had hit another parked car as well.

Injuries: none, since the Cherrier was unoccupied.

    Location: just outside Norte, Italy.

Vehicles involved: 2012 Utility Truck, 2020 Cherrier Tograc 110d, 1998 Ibishu Kashira.

Aftermath: the truck driver was fired and charged with careless driving, with the Cherrier's leaseholder railing on him at the scene and again in court, despite having parked her car illegally. The Cherrier was a write-off, though the truck was hardly damaged at all. The (also barely damaged) Kashira's owner was less angry, as she did not care about her car and had wanted a new one anyway- using the money she won from the trucking company she put a deposit down on a brand-new Ibishu Covet.

    Case: double head-on crashes, April 28th 1983.

Description: at around 3am on April 28th, a supercar was stolen from a wealthy resident of Castelletto and taken for a joyride. Whilst tearing down a one-way street, it encountered a traffic car going the correct way and hit it head-on. Realising he would be arrested, the Civetta thief did not stop after crashing into the innocent Piccolina. He encountered hardly any traffic after that, until reaching the road leading down the mountain, and an oncoming truck. In blasting the horn and flashing his headlights, he expected the truck to clear a path for him, but it simply stopped in the middle of the road, leaving him with no option but to smash the car into a rock face.

Injuries: the Piccolina driver, without so much as a seatbelt, suffered from whiplash. The thief took a few cuts and bruises, but was in good enough condition to attempt to run from the second crash, having to be tackled to the ground by the truck driver.

    Location: Castelletto, Italy.

    Vehicles involved: 1982 Civetta Bolide 350GT, 1972 Autobello Piccolina 110B, 1980 Gavril T65.

Aftermath: the thief was revealed to be 26-year-old Vincent Suzzara, who had been seen in stolen cars multiple times before. He was made to pay for the Civetta's repairs and was imprisoned for 2 years. The Autobello, though still in perfectly driveable condition, was a write-off.

Case: Head-on collision caused by a sleepy driver, March 29th, 2004

Description: Carl, 64, was hauling his Barstow Lancehead to his new garage at around 6:30 PM when Simon, 37, was driving home from work in his Roamer and fell asleep, tired from his construction job that required heavy manual labor. As Simon drifted off to sleep, his car swerved into Carl's lane and had a head-on collision sending the Lancehead into the back of Carl's truck.

Injuries: Carl received a major head injury from his truck airbags malfunctioning and has no memory of the past 3 months. Simon, who had his head resting on the wheel, broke his neck as the airbag went off in his face, slamming his head back. Simon died on impact.

    Location: Utah, USA

Vehicles Involved: 1997 Gavril Roamer XT, 1986 Gavril D-Series D15 Extended Cab, Bagtrailer Offroad (Being pulled by the truck), 1970 Gavril Barstow Lancehead (On trailer)

Aftermath: Carl's lawyer sued Simon's family for medical bills and Simon's insurance paid for repairs to the Lancehead but the other two cars were totaled.

    Case: head-on collision, June 27th 2019.

Description: Italian social media influencer Antonio da Vecchia had just taken delivery of the first Hirochi eSBR in the country, and decided to livestream a test drive of it. Blown away by the car's acceleration, he impatiently overtook another car without seeing the (much smaller) oncoming one, and hit both.

Injuries: the driver who had been hit head-on suffered neck injuries and some bruising. Antonio was uninjured, and though shaken by the incident he hid this fact very well initially.

    Location: just outside Norte, Italy.

Vehicles involved: 2019 Hirochi eSBR 800, 1986 Ibishu Dove, 2015 ETK 854tc Scalota.

Aftermath: Antonio was given a fine, which he easily was able to pay, and given a six-month driving ban. The Dove driver, 53-year-old Peter Vati, made a full recovery within that time, and Antonio's followers pressured him into meeting up with him to apologise. Peter was very understanding, surprisingly, joking that "if I had a car that fast of course I'd drive it like that", adding "in writing off my junk heap you just bought me a new Autobello!"

    Case: Brake-Check Gone Wrong, September 4th, 1998

Description: Tami, 42, was driving her Wentward bus on the highway when an unknown driver in a Bruckell Prism cut in front of her and brake checked her bus. The bus, being big and heavy, didn't have very good brakes, causing the bus to ram the Prism. The unknown driver fled the scene. The dashcam on Tami's bus caught numerous pictures of the Prism driving erratically .

Injuries: Tami was unharmed but a few passengers had some bruises. The Prism driver's injuries are unknown.

    Location: Highway, East Coast, USA

Vehicles Involved: 1994 Wentward DT40L City Bus, Bruckell Prism (Unknown Year)

Aftermath: Tami's bus company paid for the repairs on the bus. Police soon found the now determined 1997 Bruckell Prism abandoned in the bushes in a nearby town. The driver has still not been found.

    Case: side-on impact, March 5th 2001.

Description: a broken-down car in Castelletto was causing problems for other commuters. The stricken grey Covet was approached from behind by another Ibishu, whose driver expected a path to simply be cleared for them, but the road was too narrow and the white Covet ZXi was not going to wait. They did not check their mirrors first though, and so did not see the telecommunications van overtaking them already.

Injuries: the driver of the white Covet ZXi suffered a broken arm and leg, with the van driver unharmed.

Vehicles involved: 1989 Ibishu Covet ZXi, 1997 Gavril H15, 1998 Ibishu Covet DXi (had broken down, causing the incident, but was not hit).

    Location: Castelletto, Italy.

Aftermath: The cause of the breakdown was revealed to be a blown fuse stopping fuel getting to the Covet's injectors. As for the ZXi, it was not written off but the repairs were very expensive, so it was simply sold on. Witnesses claimed the van was speeding, though the driver would not admit it and so no charges were brought against him.

Description: Carlos, 31, was driving his ETK 800 Series in a tunnel when he exited the tunnel, the sun blinded him temporarily. Carlos, who was from another country and not realizing he was on the wrong side of the road, slammed into a Cherrier Tograc driven by Sasha, 44, not having enough time to brake because of the sun glare.

Injuries: Carlos had a minor head injury and a broken nose while Sasha was fine, just shaken up.

    Location: Altitude

    Vehicles Involved: 2015 ETK 800 Series 845t, 2020 Cherrier Tograc 150dQ

Aftermath: Carlos was found at fault and had to pay for the damages to both cars which were repaired. Sasha was very understanding of Carlos's mistake as she traveled a lot and wasn't very upset.

Case: loss of control crash, December 5th 2012.

Description: Usually the dry Polish winters did not bother nightwatchman Peter and his beaten-up Pessima hatchback, despite the steep, winding track that he had to take to work and back. However, the night of December 4th was unusually wet, coating the tracks in black ice. When his colleague Janus arrived to take over his watch at 6a.m. he was warned about the treacherous conditions, and took extra care on his way down the hill away from the tower. Even so, the lack of grip on an extremely steep downhill section caused him to lock up his brakes and slide off the track sideways, his car hitting one tree head-on and sliding down further into another.

Injuries: none, as the accident was not at massively high speed.

Vehicles involved: 1997 Ibishu Pessima 1.8 Hatchback.

    Location: Polish Mountains.

Aftermath: Peter called Janus asking for help- he was barely a minute away. Janus helped him out of the car and they then called for a recovery. It was several hours later that a tow truck was able to reach them, and it took a while to get the car out of the trees and reveal the true extent of the damage. The Pessima was written off due to its age and low value, and Peter made sure his next car had winter tyres and all-wheel-drive.

    Case: rear-end collision, May 2nd 2016.

Description: a tired, drunk truck driver was struggling to keep in any particular lane on the autopista. This, combined with his speed being limited to 90km/h (versus 130 for everyone else) caused some motorists to lose patience. One, in an ETK coupe, went for a pass on the hard shoulder, but mashing the throttle in rage caused him to lose control, spinning in front of the truck which crushed his car into the barrier. Two more cars took evasive action to avoid debris and the ETK and ended up hitting the barriers.

Injuries: the ETK driver suffered severe whiplash and a broken arm.

    Vehicles involved: 2012 Utility Truck, 2015 ETK 836tt Sport+, 2012 Hirochi Sunburst, 2005 Gavril H15.

    Location: the autopista, Italy.

Aftermath: the Sunburst and the van were both repaired quickly and cheaply, and the truck was virtually untouched. Its driver was fired and jailed for three years for drink-driving and dangerous driving. The ETK driver was also charged with careless driving but was found not at fault, and the car was repaired at an estimated cost of 13,000 euros.

    Case: single-vehicle incident, March 3rd 2020.

Description: an ETK was reported stolen by its owner around midnight. A car matching its description, but on different number plates, was clocked by police about an hour later. The ETK's driving was extremely erratic, and it had initially been spotted travelling in convoy with another car, which fled in a different direction. Police gave chase, with the intent of stopping the ETK before it risked the lives of the public- however, even a stinger taking out all four tyres did not stop it, and neither did an attempted roadblock- it punched straight through the police car, then reversing into another in order to get around the wreckage. It then drove down the oncoming lane of a dual-carriageway, reaching speeds of over 80mph with three police cars now in hot pursuit- however, upon seeing an oncoming vehicle, the driver panicked and swerved into a barrier, spinning the car around and allowing it to be blocked in by police.

Injuries: the driver had not been wearing his seatbelt, and neither had his two passengers. All suffered severe whiplash, with the driver sustaining a broken wrist. The police officer in the affected car was shaken but uninjured.

    Vehicles involved: 2014 ETK 856td, 2020 Cherrier Vivace 110d (x3)

    Location: Scottish Highlands.

Aftermath: the affected officer took a month off work, during which time he attended counselling to help get over the trauma. The ETK was found to be on false plates, with the owner proving such by sending a photo he had of the car before it was taken. The other two police cars involved took minor damage, but the one which was sideswiped needed over a week out of service to be fixed, and the ETK was a write-off- the ruined wheels, crash damage and the force needed to get the miscreants out of the car (smashed window plus damage to the driver's door) proved to be too expensive to fix, especially now that the car was out of warranty.

Once seen to by paramedics, the criminals were detained, and eventually all three were found guilty of taking without owner's consent, with dangerous driving and cocaine possession charges added for the driver- he received four years in prison plus a three-year driving ban, while his cohorts got away with a two-year suspended sentence each. Their arrests helped uncover a nationwide car theft gang, who were taking cars to order and exporting them to eastern Europe.

    Case: head-on collision, August 5th 1988.

Description: police from across the area were dispatched to an emergency situation in Norte, Italy. One unit heading through Portino was greeted by traffic, but it conveniently parted for safe passage- except an elderly French tourist did not hear the siren and pulled out of a junction thinking that the car to his left had stopped for him. The police officer could not react in time, and the Frenchman did not react at all.

Injuries: the police officer was seriously injured, rushed to hospital with concussion and several broken ribs. The occupants of the other car, an elderly French couple and their only grandchild, were unharmed.

Vehicles involved: 1972 Autobello Piccolina 130, 1986 Bruckell LeGran S.

    Location: Portino, Italy.

Aftermath: the police officer made a full recovery, but it took several months. The Piccolina he had been travelling in was a wreck, but luckily the leaking fuel had not caused a fire. By the time a tow truck had arrived, all the petrol had leaked out onto the road, so bystanders offered to push the car onto the flatbed, with a helping hand from the LeGran driver's wife while he was being seen to by an ambulance. In the end, the LeGran driver's licence was suspended and he sold the car for scrap even though it still was perfectly usable.

Case: Red light runner causes t-bone collision, May 17th, 1969

Description: Dean, 24, was driving his brand new Dodge Charger on the streets of California when he encountered a large straightaway. He decided to gun it, testing the car's power, but he didn't realize that the light just up ahead was about to change to red, and Jimmy, 36, would drive through the intersection in his Dodge Cornet, cutting Dean off. Dean, who was driving very fast and who's car didn't have ABS, slammed into the front left tire of Jimmy causing significant damage to both cars.

Injuries: Jimmy had a broken leg from the side-impact and Dean had a broken nose from the steering wheel.

Vehicles Involved: 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, 1968 Dodge Cornet 383 Sedan

    Location: California, West Coast, USA

Aftermath: Dean was found at fault and had to pay for the repairs to his car but, unfortunately, Jimmy's car was totaled so Jimmy sued Dean and Dean had to pay him $1000 (around $7000 in today's money).

Case: Speeding astrologist flips off a cliff, July 21st, 2007

Description: George, 34, who had been working at an observatory on Jungle Rock Island spotted an amazing asteroid that passed right by Earth. He caught a picture of it and he needed to urgently share it with the mainland USA. Unfortunately, the post office was at the bottom of the hill in town. George quickly hopped in his Hopper and sped down the hill a little to fast and when he reached a hairpin turn, his Hopper flipped off of the road and fell down and ended up hitting a large rock face at the bottom.

Injuries: George was mostly unharmed besides from a broken ankle

Vehicles Involved: 1994 Ibishu Hopper Classic

Location: Jungle Rock Island, Hawaii, USA

Aftermath: George luckily had a satellite phone which stayed in his Hopper throughout the carnage which he used to call the sheriff in the town who sped up the hill and took him to the clinic where he made a full recovery. George sent in his pictures to NASA who used them to study asteroids further. The Hopper wasn't recovered as it was too far down the cliff and sits there to this day. As for George, he still lives on the island and looks for more things in space that could help NASA in their research.

    Case: rear-end collision, December 1st 2015.

Description: a trucker delivering logs had forgotten to deflate his tyres for more grip, as he had been advised to do. This, plus the tight job schedule, meant he took a few risks on the journey. He approached a few corners with too much speed, but was usually able to recover and carry on with little time lost. One turn, however, saw him lose grip entirely, and the truck ploughed into a rock. A driver coming the other way in an Ibishu stopped to help, but the pickup truck behind them did not have time- he had been planning to overtake, but an oncoming MPV meant that while he had the speed, he could not take the road position in time and hit the Pessima from behind.

Injuries: the truck driver, having been flung through his side window, suffered spinal injuries and concussion. The other motorists involved were fine besides a few bruises.

Vehicles involved: 2013 Utility Truck, 1998 Ibishu Pessima DX, 2003 Gavril D15.

    Location: Polish Mountains.

    Aftermath:
the driver of the MPV was more than glad to help, as were her passengers- two friends she had been attending an event with that day. While the driver tended to the trucker, the two passengers called the emergency services and made sure everyone else involved was okay. The truck driver never fully recovered, and did not drive again, however his boss made sure he could stay at the company, just in an office job rather than on the road. Both the Pessima and the pickup, and their occupants, were free to go due to how minor the damage to their vehicles was.

Case: Drunk driver causes a car to drive off a cliff, August 2nd, 2020

    Description:
Susanna, 77, was driving her ETK when Josh, 23, who was driving drunk, swerved into her lane. Lucia, 43, who caught the whole ordeal on dashcam, watched the ETK fly off of a cliff and plummet into a bunch of rocks and then roll into the sea. Josh, unaware of what he did, continued to drive home.

Injuries: Susanna did not survive. Everyone else was unharmed

    Vehicles Involved: 1986 ETK W-Series 2.0 Gasoline

    Location: East Coast, USA

    Aftermath:
Lucia stopped at the side of the road and claimed down the cliff to see if Susanna was ok, which she wasn't. Lucia then called the police who showed up and took many pictures. Lucia provided a dashcam video to the police who traced the plate number and found Josh's address. He had no memory of that drive and insisted he didn't do it. Josh was taken to prison for 2 years for drinking and driving and manslaughter.

Case: rear-end collision with two secondary side impacts, July 28th 2016.

Description: One of ETK's Driving Experience cars was about to go out and do its job, giving a member of the public the opportunity to drive their dream car. However, someone else was leaving at the same time- a customer who had just made a deposit on a new car and was waiting until it was ready to pick up. Whilst messing with the radio, the ETK's driver was not paying attention to the junction ahead, where that customer was waiting to turn. He slammed the Driving Experience car into the back of the customer's car, which sent it into the junction. It caught the side of a passing car, propelling it into the barrier opposite where it was then collected by a truck.

Injuries: the front-seat passenger of the t-boned ETK suffered a broken arm, but the driver, and everyone else involved, got away with minor scrapes.

Vehicles involved: 2016 ETK Kc6tx, 2010 Gavril Vertex SE, 2014 ETK 854td, 2012 Utility Truck.

Location: ETK Driving Experience Centre, Germany.

Aftermath: the K-series was brought back in by one of the rental desk staff, and its damage assessed- the cost of repair was estimated to be 2500 euros, which the man driving the car was asked to contribute to. The Gavril driver sued the company they had just bought a new car from for letting the driver out on his own, and in winning the case they were refunded the car's deposit. The Driving Experience from that point forward always saw a member of staff (usually from the sales floor) going as a passenger in the car, and all the Driving Experience cars were fitted with dashcams front and rear. The silver ETK was a write-off, but the accident had happened in the perfect place to get another one (as the driver pointed out).

Case: head-on crash in a race gone wrong, July 7th 2018.

Description: crashing is all part of the fun when it comes to banger racing, but it's only meant to involve the other competing cars. In this particular event, held by a group of car enthusiasts at a disused race track, things went wrong. A competing Ibishu Pessima went out early with suspension failure, however it was still being driven hard- hitting a bump in the track caused it to flail out of control and it hit a non-competing pickup truck that an opponent had used to get to the event.

Injuries: none, as the truck was unoccupied. Two spectators who were photographing the event got quite close to being hit by the Pessima, though.

Vehicles involved: 1996 Ibishu Pessima 1.8 Hatchback, 1988 Gavril D15 Extended Cab.

    Location: the racetrack, Industrial Site.

Aftermath: The pickup was fine, with hardly any noticeable damage. The Pessima was dead, though, and had lost the amateur event overall. It was given a not-exactly dignified farewell later that day by way of its owner loading it back onto the trailer it had arrived on, taking it down to a nearby scrapyard and dumping it alongside a row of other forsaken motors.
