Two dead in head on crash in Silverton -Silverton Nevada An afternoon of reckless driving, speeding and alleged alcohol consumption ended in tragedy Saturday afternoon in the small town of Silverton about 35 miles north of Las Vegas. Local police say two men in their mid 20's were travelling at a high rate when their light blue 1995 Gavril Grand Marshal slammed head on into a semi truck. Both occupants died instantly. Silverton County Sheriff's deputies authorized to speak of the incident said there was ample evidence of alcohol in the vehicle and "other" evidence was found at the scene. Deputies indicated the vehicle was travelling at least 100 mph at impact. Witnesses at the nearby Lodge Pole motel reported hearing a "whoosh and a huge bang". Route 666 through Silverton was closed for 6 hours Saturday in both directions while authorities processed the scene and performed clean up. The names of the two male occupants have not been released pending notification of relatives. The driver of the semi had moderate injuries and was taken to a local clinic for evaluation and released. An attempt to find a cause for the wreck will be "grueling", said one of the deputies. -Aboroath pool reporter

Unibody vehicles have a frame even though it's integrated into the body. You can even see the FRAME rails in the engine bay and underside of the car. How rigid you reckon a car would be with no frame at all?
