Well, you can work together with @R4NKING for his mod to use your sounds, as his mod Highly Customizable Engines takes advantage of all the game's available sounds from the 2 cylinders/Rotors up to V16

They sound a whole LOT better then what i use now.
Looking forward to using 'em :D

I feel like there is no point for making a sound for a car that's likely to be remastered in the next update.

It's all good, it's very quick and easy to replace the sound reference if an update overwrites what I've done. I have a couple of things that I'm working on for the I Series sound but not quite final enough to show yet.

What about it? First there is no teaser about it, the moonhawk might be remastered first. And second of all, they probably won't add new inline 6 sounds to it

You can say that there are. The engines models have been remade already and they added pre-facelift rear fascia to it. If there is a car that will get a remaster/remake the Moonhawk might get it first.

    Well, cool.
If they are going to remaster the muscle cars, then i am in luck, because the Barstow is my favorite :)

just a small bit of feedback with most of these sounds, the volume of the samples should increase pretty drastically as you go up the rev range, but at the moment they sound kinda compressed if that makes sense. almost as if they were recorded with a phone or camcorder microphone, this is an issue with forza sounds though which i have come across before, they probably have some ingame mechanic that fixes it by messing with the volume after the fact but in beamng you should probably either increase the volume of the higher rpms, or decrease the volume of the lows.

Volume isn't final, that's just something I did on purpose while testing the samples, they're all normalised to -5dB to stay equal. I'll decide on a per-sound basis which ones should get louder with revs when I go back and polish them up.

You know, Admiester, you're batshit insane when it comes to the detail you put into things, and I love you for that. Makes me really excited as BeamNG.drive needs more realism considering its primary purpose. Engine Sounds Remastered is great as well, I use that mod all the time, but I'm excited to see how different this one can be. Especially since there's a bigger focus on exhausts and how much of a drastic change they can make depending on the one that's installed.

I think one of the projects I'm most hyped for is GT4 Spec II, the preview engine sounds I've seen for that are amazing, on top of the other general gameplay improvements I heard about.

I hope all of the projects you've been doing aren't too terribly back-breaking, though.

I'm also following this project, too bad it's not for the base game, only for the multiplayer version

Is it possible to add a few extras for certain engines, ive been playing with using parts to switch sounds like changing from i4_2 to _3 for itbs and such, like having a american v8 burble for an H-Pipe exhaust system and that high corvette scream for an X-Pipe

you know that GT4 Online does also contain like most if not all of GT4?

I mean the reason it's on Online is because GT4 comes on two discs, whereas GT4 Online comes on one.
