Tried this out today and most of the sounds are great, the covet sounds a little too bland in my opinion atleast if you compare it to something like Born 2 Drives sounds, but everything else im a fan of.

 

I think the Covet was unfinished, I was running through the cars after putting out to beta to jog my memory and remember the Covet sounding a bit weak.

It'll probably get a new sound in the next update but don't expect anything too exciting for anything but the 1.5, since cars that sound airy and boring IRL should/will sound airy and boring in this mod.

 

Definitely a good mod. Should add v6 v8 10 v12 i6 i2 and f6

 

I've already made most of those and the rest aren't covered by vanilla cars. I'll be covering the base game content before moving onto anything introduced by mods.

 

I noticed that the Pessima MK2's V6 sound is very weird, even similar to the sound of the Covet's i4 1.5

 

I like it it's better than what I've done can't wait for vtec tho

Hey man, I know you aren't looking to put a lot more time towards this mod but there are a few glitches that I'd love to see fixed to make this mod fully playable. I tested both of these glitches with the standalone mod and nothing else active:
-The ETK I-series falls apart and has all kinds of duplicate node errors when the mod is on. Deleting the I-series folder from the mod didn't seem to fix it, either.
-The T-series has lua errors when being loaded in and the jake brake no longer works. Not sure what the specific cause is, but it seems to be an issue with this mod in particular.

Yeah not a bad idea to do at some point, my main focus for now was just getting it fixed up for the changes to various cars and getting it out.

 

These sounds are amazing!

 

I feel like some engines dont sound good, like they have two different sounds playing at once.

I find especially D-series default truck to be much more in use when I have this modification enabled, vanilla v8 cars seem all quite the same, but your modification adds nice variety to vehicles.

 

this mod causes the drop down box on the exhaust for the sbr4 to disappear making the center exhaust (and other exhaust tips) to be broken
