I think this says a lot about how blissfully unaware you must be, and not much else. sorry buddy, but your personal lack of observation isn't my problem lol well, they're clearly too busy scattering low-poly groceries throughout the interior to be bothered fixing *actual* problems, but to sit here and say that addressing the fact that this is sized like a BMW 5 series is "out of the scope of this thread" makes you sound a bit out of touch with reality lol
That, my friend, is not a proof, but perspective. Off course the object nearer to the viewer will appear bigger. While I do not contest the notion that the Miata is too big, your argument will break down if you placed the car behind the other. Or better put them on top of each other!
lmao you sound ridiculous being objectively wrong and arguing against it... but hey, you're entitled to your wrong opinion I guess.
"Out of touch with reality?" I know what the goal of this project was since I was the one who originally started it. I'll quote myself : "Hello everyone, There is an old Miata mod on a Russian site that is actually quite decent So I decided to make it better!" - This project was never about completely redoing the original 3D model of the car and Jbeam, which is what you're basically asking. The model of the Miata was always too large and it was a problem from the start. The original goal here was to make it more usable. However, I wasn't going for a complete remake of the mod from scratch. Changing the size of the car would need exactly that, a complete rewrite of the mod. It affects too many variables to allow the reusing of most assets. That represents a lot more work than this originally had. Now, I don't want to contradict @dart on this one but I'd say that he already made the observation that the model is too large compared to the real thing and that he/she already probably saw your remarks on it. Yes, it's probably too big compared to the real car, but no I don't think that will be fixed in the foreseeable future. Again, @dart, I invite you to correct me on this if that's the case. (Oh and also, I think he did a bit more than "scattering low-poly groceries throughout the interior" - the fact that he/she took the time to fix and improve this very old mod that probably otherwise would've still been outdated and undrivable as of today is in itself something we should be thankful for, this isn't like this is a paid mod or something. )
It's not "slightly" bigger, it's pretty significantly bigger. If you have seen the Miata irl you can tell. That being said, making it smaller would be a lot of work.
I'm friends with Dart and I must say. Its a good mod, With the "Small" help of some other friends He and them got the mod done up pretty good
I am having an issue after installing the mod where the models are not loading. The j-beam works fine.
For those crying about how big it is, f11 and scale the vehicle down. ez fix without the need of the nice mod maker to redo the entire think for it simply being a bit oversized. thank you for continuing this mod and putting fourth effort into making it nice again
Oh, it'd be wonderful if this worked. Unfortunately, we cannot even try and adjust the size of a vehicle via the world editor, since vehicles do not have a scale field and also do not display a scale gizmo. I have no idea what you have been resizing, but it certainly was not a vehicle.
