Id rather you do it aswell --- Post updated --- Honestly please accept my apology, you don't have to let me back in the group
I was wondering if you can fix the rear steer not working with controller because when i press the button on the controller to turn the rear, it doesn't do anything. It would be helpful if you can fix that!
Yes. They are just slow at torque redistribution - possibly due to simulated planetaries. I've been trying to improve this all along, but it's not that simple.
Is anybody willing to help me actually make skins? I really want too, as i have lots of skins that would be awesome if done right.
There were problems with credit given for some of the things if I remember. The reason this is far behind that with different trucks etc. is because this one is made completely from scratch ( i believe ) to avoid any further complications. Flying2YourSoul knows the full story since he is doing this mod. But he has said that so many times since the new mod was released that he gets extremely mad that people keep asking. --- Post updated ---
the only models that are from the original release are the chassis, shocks, differential housings, wheels and tires, lower 4-link bars, steering linkage things, and tie rods. the issue came from the bodies that we used and the paints. we credited them in the presets so they would be in a permanent place but some people wanted them in the patch notes for every single update that was done and F2YS was not having it. the current stuff was either donated or created from scratch. the paints (aside from the grave digger paint) were created by @acapaldi and the models were donated such as the interior bits, radiators and rad fans, fuel cell, bodies, and tires.
thank you for clearing that up for me and hopefully a few people that may also be confused about that. I know that will last for all of a day before somebody starts asking again.
To clarify: I have no problem giving credit when credit is due. Not at all. I do have a problem with the nitpicky attitude some 3rd party authors have shown in the past. More often than not, it was not about recognition or mentions in the patch notes, it frequently derailed into some sort of a childish competition between communities. So, well, I gave up. For some, this will always be a mod based on "their" stolen parts, even if I'm authorized to use them and I have an extensive list of credits in the mod frontpage. That's why I'm now trying to keep outsurcing to a minimum. SMH...
I question the thoughts that these people have some times. It just seems like their stubborness ruins a lot of pretty cool things out there, devoiding people of their want to finish something. If there was more of a light hearted community out there then many of the problems could be handled. Just plain sucks.
