yo is their any other maps other than the srma and the beamng tracks i cant find anything else anywhere
I am half tempted to release all the maps i have that aren't on the repository into my group. but the question is, do i feel like contacting people?
bring the tire pressure all the way up and bring the supercharger slider all the way to the right, that should help, if not then soften the suspension a little, I'm getting air and distance with my tune, was tested on the Mega FS of Doom map...I found out the air pressure thing trying to get the RGTrophyT around the ancient mx backyard map, wouldn't make the jump until I increased the tire pressure so if anything you will get longer jumps, still have to test height but it feels like I'm getting higher jumps, I did not mess with the powertrain either, will see what I can do
Tried to boost the power wich included turning the tire pressure all the way up. I noticed though when doing this that there is some bad wheel wobble. Is there any way to counter this or is it due to limitations of the game itself?
the wheel wobble has been with the mod since it's inception back in early 2016. it may be a game limitation, either that or there is still some old code.
Wheel wobble is caused by the simplified pressureWheels model: wheels are more or less heavy toroidal shapes with a single "hub" node connecting them to the axles. The higher the torque reaching the wheels unmitigated, the higher the uncontrolled vibration and wobble. Boosting the power and upping the tire pressure at the same time amplifies the issue. Planetaries were implemented to counter this: planetary gearing should be adjusted to cope with the increased power/torque if you boost the supercharger.
issue. i can only tune the sway bars to 68% (with everything as high as it can be) and at 69% stiffness, the swaybars make the breakage sound.
Wheel wobbles are completely normal, so really nothing to fix there. It's even more common with Non-beadlock rims.
So... Status update: I'm partially dead, but I managed to find someone reliable (crazy?) enough to help me with the mod development. Next update will probaby include new engine/transmission and radiator meshes donated by @Hagan Moskau. More props such as driveshafts, pulleys and radiator fans will probably be animated. Due to the extensive changes in the cards, release version might jump to 2.0. On these improved underpinnings, CRD 2.0 (and compatible bodies) will finally be built. Meanwhile, the addon pack will get new color-coded beadlocks for the Bigfoot paint schemes, a new, uncut variant of Firestone tires and maybe the new Winter paint design by @acapaldi.
